RD was very humble, simple and plain hearted human being full of life and jest, he left us very early for heavenly abode, though he may not be physically with us but such is his strong presence which places him as immortal... No other composer can take his place forever...

Been there heard the music.. I didn't knew much then.. but now what a legend❤

This is some kind of a dream come true for me as I never ever got an opportunity to attend any of Pancham da's shows in life, although I was fortunate enough to have seem him from a very close distance on at least 3 occasions but didn't garner the guts to go across n talk to him for 2 reasons ; (a) I was too timid n shy and (b) I thought a man of his stature would not like it if his privacy was intruded. Watching this has fulfilled one of my wishes in life

just goosebumps. god of music live in stage, and for a long while not seen earlier. a rare genius world would never see again. he has left with all that unpublished melodies that was with him forever. we couldnt hold him within us. that was our abject failure.

Still nostalgic about this tune that its the 1st tune i play on my guitar... my childhood memories with the film... much before satellite tv came we as kids use to eagerly wait for this film on DD and mainly for this opening tune... other things were just sundry... such a hummable tune is now not made.. i cant hear any guitar on present day music... beautiful RD saab... now such music does not come...its only loud noise to heard in name of music

God bless you R.D. Burman. You were a wealth for India and for the whole world. I was disturbed by only one thing in this video, the audience. I've been wondering all the time, how can people be so emotionless, even though such stars as Lata Mangeshkar, Mod. Rafie and Kishore Kumar and many others come from their land and where the music owes its genesis. This disinterest of the audience has made me thoughtful and sad. I hope that the Indians have changed in the meantime.
