What exactly is your concept of a modern India? Shanker-Jaikishan too lived in a modern India and they were the original musical geniuses who inspired Pancham and all others who followed the 'Western' path.

I am from Guwahati used see the film since 1966 if it was composed by Pancham Da to begin with film Teerasa Kaun and went on & fortunately witnessed a programme at Guwahati in 1979

Coordinator very good Musicians. Superb Pancham voice very nice Rafi. So so Voice of Kishore daa Missing. Many shrutii Prodipto Sengupta very very good event is given by u My best wishes to all of u Including organiser Stage recordists Light managers and all behind the screen people A very good presentation Is done God bless u all

Prajkta and Vaibhav's duet of parinda, pyar ke mod pe was highlight of the show, excellent composition and wonderfully performed.

It is indeed most melodious, marvelous nicest, , heart touching brain storming, sweetest, superb, awesome, inspiring, mind setting, Ever Ever green .....Songs were Composed by SHANKAR JAIKISHAN & O.P. Nayar sung in Fantastic style by Lata ji Asha ji...which are not Reproducible now. Both used 50+ Violins guitars Hawaian guitar, Drums, side drums, saxophone, Lyre PIONO, PIona Accordian, Harmonium. The fact remains no others composed in their style Melody Rytham Orchestra. As far as back ground Music is concerned Shankar JAIKISHAN were No.1
