The car is worth buying if your into it everything is changeable replaceable and reusable. If a motor frys 20-60 $ new motor same car and vice versa esc or controler or stering servo this whole car is just like a real car but cheaper and funner to flip.

Thumbs way up man i just got off the rig and was able to watch i know you running the 1.9's but i went ahead and ordered the 2.2 mudlingers and sandpaws. Oh as far as i can tell you have brushed , brushless then vxl brushless i think vxl is the radio tx rx 2.4 ghz

yes, one is a converted slash vxl to e-revo and the other is a e-revo vxl. As far as I know the vxl just means it has the brushless motor and its water proof. I don't know anything about the traxxas 1/16 platform in regards to brushed, sorry

Honestly, it all depends. Are you a hobbiest, or do you want a toy? It does take alot of modifying and fixing. if you like that, its a great truck for it and it can become so many different things. as you could see those were both the same RC but very different. If you want a toy that you don't have to worry about breaking or upgrading the Merv is not for you. hope that helps :) And thanks btw :D

One more question is this car in the video VXL Powered? and whats the main difference between vxl and non-vxl? (other than brushless)
