    Women like her like to "wait at the finish line", while men like him want an actual life partner to build something with. My crystal ball says she has maybe a decade of getting used by wealthy good-looking guys with options, followed by cats, boxed wine and moaning about where all the "good men" went

  • @233kosta

    @233kosta

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@Ender11037 It's essentially sold in bulk. Made to be cheap and sold in huge quantities. The boxes are to keep the cost down even further. The actual unit cost of a box is much lower than a glass bottle, and when packed in bulk they stack neatly, meaning you don't need any supports in the packaging, and you can get more wine in the same overall package volume. Little difference to you and me, HUGE difference to whoever makes and sells it. As half the experience of drinking wine (opening the bottle, etc.) is gone, and boxed wine most probably doesn't age the same as bottled wine (there's a reason they still use cork plugs too!), the only logical conclusion is that boxed wine is aimed at broke drunks and price-conscious alcoholics. Never had any myself, but I imagine it doesn't smell or taste particularly good, and my bar for acceptable wine taste is already abysmally low, given the cheapsh!t wine I'm accustomed to sampling on occasion, though at least that comes in a real bottle 🤣

    Amy's friends aren't real friends, if they are going to be more concerned about a boy touching her, over the fact that she has a serious injury. And like Amy said, they didn't do jack when she needed help.

    yeah it's like the equivalent of a man doing CPR on a woman, if some entitled Karen who happens to be a family member(or likely not) to the unconscious female, pushes the male away after thinking he's touches the female's breast(which is actually trying to help her breath), then that Karen family member is just killing her own sister, daughter, or whatever relationship they're in(or some random person who see it the wrong way). and if there are stories like that where the op is trying to save someone's life, and some karen pushes him for any stupid reason she has, then i'll be in shocked that they would do such a thing

    Definite child abuse. She almost killed her daughter because of her healing salt and oil beliefs, instead of getting proper scientifically tested medical vaccines. So, she was fine playing with her daughter's life, but what would she do if she had a medical emergency? Sure, maybe get the salt, oils and crystals, but I bet she'd be straight to the hospital if she isn't getting better. She would have refused doing that for her own daughter if she was in her care during getting the chicken pox. The woman needs to get off Facebook and go read an actual medical science book.

    Another update on the pool party. Copy and pasted from OPs page Greg followed through on not inviting Sarah to the next party. she was upset about it but accepted it. then two days after that party she called me and asked if we could meet in person and talk. i said okay and we met at a starbucks. She looked really sad and apologized to me profusely. she said that she doesnt know why she said those things about me. she thinks she was ashamed of being frozen in fear when Amy got hurt and she just took out that shame on me by insulting me. but that it was incredibly fucked up to do because accusations like the ones she threw at me, even if they were "jokes", could ruin my entire career and it was so wrong of her to do that just because she was ashamed of herself. she seemed genuinely remorseful so i forgave her and we are friends again. i told her i would talk to greg about letting her back into the parties but she said not to. what she did was "super fucked" and she doesnt want to come back until Amy forgives her too. i said okay. we hugged and i went on my merry way. a couple of days after that im hanging out with Amy at my house and we talk about the Sarah situation.. i showed Amy the previous post and asked her if we should show the others. she said yeah. so i showed everyone including sarah and she was a little upset at first but quickly accepted it. Amy forgave sarah a few days after that and she was invited to the 4th of july party two days ago (on the 3rd) and we had a great time. sarah was a little awkward at first at this party but quickly cheered up once we assured her that the "drama" was behind us and we accepted her apology and quickly moved on to joking about it. including sarah pretending to slice open her boob with the dull side of a butter knife, saying "Hark! mine tender breast! it doth been sliced open like a ripe melon! whoms't ever will save me?", ripping off her bikini top and leaping into my lap. which, to be really honest here, firmly put the issue to bed because everyone at the party was laughing for a good hour about that. So yeah. everything worked out in the end really. i just wanted to put a cork in this story because when i saw it on tiktok i realized how much people enjoyed it and thought it would be prudent to let people know that it had a definitive ending TL;DR: things worked out, we are all friends again. they might be in the comments of this post

    Sarah: “We KnOw FiRsT aId, We CoUlD hAvE hElPeD tOo” Then why didn’t you? Why did you choose to belittle the one person helping your friend and call them a creep rather than helping your friend? If I had a choice between letting a man touch my boobs to treat a wound and bleeding to death, I’d accept the help. Normally I’d chalk it up to a potential knee jerk reaction, there are some pretty creepy men and women...and some non binary folk...out there in the world......but this isn’t that. She’s crafted this internal narrative where she has to be the heroine jumping in to smack down the creepy man who wanted alone time with her friend, doubling down when the friend explained what actually happened

  • @ElementZephyr

    @ElementZephyr

    2 жыл бұрын

    Because intent and appearance are more important than doing in the world of women. The act of doing requires knowledge and experience, which they did not have, and an attempt at doing would show this, thus reducing their social credit with their peers. So they keep up the appearance of intending to help, but not helping, so they can keep face, which was more important to all of them than actually helping. The narrative of attacking the "creepy guy" is to also keep face to justify how all of them did not in fact help her aka priority on appearance.

    I love knowing the outcomes to these ridiculous stories so I vote for more of these. I would have said that these stories have to be made up, BUT about 3 years ago 2 of my brothers accused me of trying to murder my dad so that I could take the house from them. My actual brothers thought that I was capable of that, and my father didn’t speak to me for a good 6 months because they had convinced him of that too. My parents moved 5 hours away from us and surprise surprise those assholes didn’t lift a finger to help them like they swore they would. My other brother and I would drive 5 hours to take them grocery shopping, we bought a car for our dad because they made him sell his old one and then wouldn’t take them grocery shopping. So yeah, I’m a believer in these stories now, some people are seriously just fucking evil, and this why I prefer animals over humans because people are literally the worst!

    One thing that got me in the original post is how the father says he doesn't understand how she could get chicken pox because she was vaccinated (even though she wasnt), but you can still get chicken pox EVEN IF you're vaccinated. A vaccine doesn't stop the infection from entering your system, but it does make it easier for your body to get rid of it SHOULD it enter your system. I hope a doctor or a nurse let him know that, because honestly, A LOT of antivaxxers start when they vaccinate their kids and the kids still contract the virus from a carrier, like how we can still catch COVID even though a majority of us are vaccinated.

    I do freelance at a law firm that does a lot of family law, I'm also Jewish, almost everyone I know is a lawyer, so I've grown up around this. The whole anti-vax story is one I've heard and personally dealt with A LOT. And it's rarely this simple. Honestly, it worked in his favor that she was this extreme. I have seen FAR WORSE cases go the other way though. Though, fun fact, you don't need both parents to get a child vaccinated. Unless there is an oder in place from a court, one parent can take the kid to get vaccinated, and they don't even have to inform the other parent. That doesn't always look great in a custody case, it may not be the right way to go during an intense custody battle as most of the time the court will agree with the vaccinating and it looks better to not be going around the other parent, but if need be, it is an option. But I've seen kids in far worse situation with horrible parents that end up with custody. Including children actually poisoned. On the other side, I've seen a mother have her infant, who was still nursing, taken away and an order of protection against her filed by the father (I use that term loosely), who had never met the baby, after being accused of "talking about murdering the baby." The "murder" was her talking to a friend about an abortion at the very, very early stages of the pregnancy. And why did she talk to a friend about it? Her oh so lovely boyfriend at the time told her he would leave her if she didn't have an abortion. She choose not to, he kept his word and left her. He came back after the baby was born just to mess with her. He lucked out with an anti-choice judge. It ended up getting dropped, and luckily the baby went to the mother's mom during the time of the emergency order of protection and not to the "father," but that was crucial bonding time they will never get back, and that mother suffered so much being continuously victimized by her ex and the courts.

    Last story, first thing to do after she took the textbook is kick in the door, yank the book back. Then later tell her she can sleep on the couch, I'm sleeping in my bed.

    I love that ending to the first story. I wish it hadn't involved that poor girl and her father going through hell though. I hate that innocent people have to suffer for their parents' stupidity.

    Look. if you want to be anti-vax. thats fine. your body, your choice. but for the love of god....never force your child to this. any sane person would talk it over with their kid and ex. if there is a court order....dont do what the ex wife did. Im sure if the court had ruled in the ex's favor and had no order for daughter to vaxxed. OP wouldve obeyed and appealed

    *Story 1:* Let this be a warning to all Anti-Vaxxers. What you do to yourself is your business, but the moment you involve children, you should rot in jail in my opinion. *Story 2:* W Amy for not letting these women trash-talk on her friend who helped her out! OP did nothing wrong (he even offered to let her do it if him messing with her chest made her uncomfortable). Though it may just be from the way OP wrote it, but I do gotta give _some_ props to Sarah for appologizing without making a fuss. She didn't need to, but she did, so I think she deserves that if nothing else. *Story 3, pre-update:* Wow, what a b****. Honestly, she did you a favor by leaving you. I'm dying to find out the twist for why she suddenly acted that way. My guess is that she's cheating and is projecting (as insecure cheaters are want to do). *Story 3, post-update:* Damn. I was _not_ expecting that. So, basically the fiance was setting up her own gold rush, and pre-emptively wanted to score OP when she thought he'd get rich and then leech off of him. Honestly, screw her. Also, if OP was an "f***ing idiot" for not getting a job in a bank to get over 150k a year, why didn't _she_ do it?

    My son WAS vaccinated from chicken pox and got it at 9 years. He was sick for fortnight with very high fever and horrible itching (especially at nights). Vaccination doesn't guarantee 100 percent that you won't catch the decease.

    To be fair not all children can handle getting all the vaccines at once. I mean the right thing to do is get one vaccine once a month.

    It might have been decades ago, but I was a baby/toddler who reacted EXTREMELY badly to the triple antigen. I had a 40c+ fever the following day followed by a massive seizure that landed me in hospital for a couple of weeks.

    As a medical practitioner I still think that both parents have issue in the vignetted story. :/ Immunecompromised children don’t respond well to conventional vaccines. Essential oils and salt may calm the body but there are other immune strengtheners or medications for those with no or part of their immune systems

    First story, that lady just lost ALL custody, should be sued in civilian court - I would never let a crazy anti-vaxer 'vacinate' my child without me also being there. Also, it should also not take 5 months for a custody case so open and close.

    I actually know a pretty famous livestreamer who is severely immune compromised, and she once told this story about how one of her mom's friends, who was strictly religious, suggested that her mom stopped using the medication that kept her alive and just "trust in God" or some such BS. The things people will try to impose on others for the sake of their own beliefs is really crazy. Although we don't tolerate it as much in our current day and age as we did only a few hundred years ago, we don't punish that kind of destructive behavior enough. As the recent years have shown, we need to have very strict laws and legal actions taken against people who intentionally exposes anyone to deadly diseases as harshly as any use of force. To maliciously or selfishly inflict anyone with a disease is no different than using biological weapons. We need to treat the medical field as the forefront of societal progress and be given the same authoritarian power as the Church had in ancient past, or else people will continue not taking it as seriously as they should.

    very well said! does this also apply if certain large corporations that do not have people's best interest at heart disseminate copious amounts of toxic substances under the guise of protection or health? if someone discovers malice or forced toxic induction on a global scale, where would you go, and where would you hear about it? is there any reason that would allow a majority to override a person's own choice?

    In story #3 I heard a LOT of reasons why it would be easy for OP to drop out of med school and create a startup. You know what I didn't hear? A single reason why she couldn't drop out of med school, get some tech classes, and do it herself.

    Hi, not an anti-vaxxer here. However getting a vaccine only helps to lessen the symptoms when you DO contract something it doesny eliminate the possibility of getting it. However what OPs wife did was wrong and absolutely dangerous. That child was already at risk and she put her in a worse position than had she been vaccinated.

    As someone intending to become a doctor, the classroom side of medical school is split into two parts. In the first year, you learn about the body when it is functioning properly. Yes, that includes studying EVERYTHING from head to toe, including the reproductive system. In the second year, you learn about the body when it is not functioning correctly, why it is not functioning correctly, and how to fix it. Years 3 and 4 are mostly clinical where you are on several different rotations, including OB/GYN. In OB/GYN, you are expected to see these parts!!!
