あっさりしたアレンジ、この名曲がすんなり入って来ました。この唄の始めから知っている爺も感激、何と言っても現代風の「シツッコ」さが無いのが好いですね。九チャンも喜んでいると思います。弦バス最高！、サイドギター素晴らしい！。

This was suppose to be a sad love song. Put a super smiling lead singer who is happy and a great musical guitar and a super bass and you have an upbeat happy version of such a sad song. I FORGOT TO CRY WHEN I WAS LOOKING AT THE TWO GIRLS IN THE GROUP. Yes i am old but i am not dead. Not yet anyway. Sukiyaki forever

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of the Sukiyaki song floating around on KZread. I'm yet to find a better version than this one! Very lively, and great accompaniment. And I too happen to be from Canada. Love & best wishes to the Japanese people!!

This version is remarkably exceptional, it's simply cheerful & uplifting.

LOVE this version!!!!!! SUKIYAKI is a classic.....THE ONLY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JAPANESE record to reach the USA charts and maybe # 1!!!!!!!

It did hit NO. 1, and stayed there a while. One of only five "foreign" language songs to make it. This cover is somewhat tongue in cheek, as it is not faithful to the spirit and mood of the original. Not at all.

Raw and funky as it is, but it's one of the best Sukiyaki version to enjoy.
