Best way to save tax 1. utilize 80C upto 150000 2. Increase insurance premium upto 50000 for paying to parents (sr citizen) 3. Medical health checkup expenses 4.medical expenses for parents 5.utilize home loan 6. Buy electric car so u ll get exemption for interest against loan 7. Claim LTA, Telephone billl and buy food coupon 8. claim HRA to the maximum if you are staying in different house finally if still u are under taxable income then add NPS for 50k Hope this ll be useful for salaried employees

Unless gift amt and int.on FDR are included and forms part and parcel of the said 9.60 lakhs they are not eligible to be deducted. There is communication gap in it.

1. 87A rebate is only applicable if your net income after all deductions is less than 5 lakhs 2. If we take housing loan in such a way that we get yearly 2 lakhs interest, Won't we loose more money in interest than in tax?

You can opt for joint account (applicant and co applicant) so two earning people together can claim with each one lakh rebate... Just a thought to share it.
@RAMUTRS
2 жыл бұрын
@@d-streetyouths9157 yes that can be done but point is, If you have to take a home loan with 2 lakh (interest only), then, that loan have to be a very long tenure one say 30 years... If I can pay the loan back in 10 or 15 years, then interest won't sum upto 2 lakh per year. So only I made a point like for claiming that interest under tax exemption, If I take high tenure loan, I end up paying interest amount more than the tax amount
@d-streetyouths9157
2 жыл бұрын
@@RAMUTRS you are absolutely right and BTW your emi amount will be lesser and you can invest more from your salary. Ler say roi is 7% for home loan and if you invest in post office schemes itself you will get around 9% interest. Also for home loan you can pay the principal repayment and claim that as well in Section 80C and also upto 50k You can claim again in section 80EE...so with the homeloan you can claim almost 4 lakh as tax exemption.
