Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(There are) two words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance. They are: ''Subhan Allah wa-bi hamdihi'' and ''Subhan Allah Al-`Azim." Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection) Sahih Bukharrri 7563.

Sayyidul Istighfar The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: (the dua below) If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise." 'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana `Abduka, wa ana `ala `ahdika wa wa`dika mastata`tu, A`udhu bika min Sharri ma sana`tu, abu'u Laka bini`matika `alaiya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta." O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshiped but You. You created me, and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have committed. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So, I ask that you forgive me, for indeed nobody can forgive sins except You.

Sheikh Yasser is my favorite but not the top-most. My all-time no. 1 favorite is Sheikh Shuraim; however, when I imitate, I'm used to imitating Sheikh Abdullah Ali Jaber's voice. And recently, one of my favorite imams is my local masjid's imam.

According to the authentic hadiths, reciting each verse separately in prayer is a Sunnah not a Fard. So, it's permissible (not recommended) to recite 2 or many verses together as long as it follows the rules of tajweed.

Apparently Sheikh Yasser recitation style is not allowed. What I heard was something about the Madd letters he does something with them. Can someone enlighten me please.

@@DeenAlIslamENI think he means when he says mass he does it with a stutter in order to try to beautify his voice, but this doesn't follow tajweed rules, a video about tajweed said that tajweed doesn't need to be corrected during salah though so that's why he doesn't get corrected
