Wow, Abraham actually talks about the sun, the moon, and a star together? That is really amazing! BTW, Abraham's confrontation with the king of Babylon is historical fiction. It contains many anachronisms, like the use of a catapult, which wasn't invented till much later by the Greeks. Further, the Islamic accounts conflate this episode with Daniel's 3 friends thrown into a furnace, though this occurs over 1000 years later.

@@peterhwang1860 Quranic narrative dosen't mention a catapult or furnace, what the scholars mentioned about the catapult in tafseer it cames after "it was said" which means we are not sure about this point , They mentioned it for accuracy in gathering the information that was available at the time.

Stupid way to raise awareness but I think its important that Muslims really understand their Quran and see that it's just a compilation of stories from the time of Mohammad and "revelations" that brought Mohammad power and pleasure. Does this not sound at all to a reasonable mind that Mohammad is using Allah to do what he pleases?? We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah's command shall be performed. There is no harm in the Prophet doing that which Allah has ordained for him; such has been the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and the command of Allah is a decree that is made absolute Surah 33:37-38

He also included a lot of stories that he heard in discourse with the people he met. But there's no denying he created revelations for selfish gain. And sometimes when he felt very shy, he would create a revelation too: O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity. Surah 33:53

I found something astonishing in The Noble Quran. the word Sirius the most brightest star at northen hemisphere is mentioned in Quran only once at surah an- Najm (the star) at ayat (53:49). The surah have 360 words . the word sirius is the 310 word from the beginning of the surah. if we divided 310/360 we have this result 0.86111111. In modern astronomy textbooks the distance in light - years of Sirius is 8.611 light -years ??!!

Oh so the _kawkab_ was basically Venus. I also used to think it was just a random star. It being Venus makes sense since it's the brightest star in the sky and would resemble a glorious deity in the pagan's eye just like the Sun and the Moon (not to mention Venus was worshiped in various pagan cultures throughout history). Yes there is indeed is the Babylonian trinity of Shamash (Sun; cognate with Arabic _shams_ ), Sin (Moon) and Ishtar (Venus)...now I get it.

This is a man who originated in UR the son of a polytheistic high priest who smashed idols in their temple. They did not record this event, yet they recorded mundane transactions. The Abrahamic faiths are simply innovation & adaption of much older polytheistic texts. Texts the Hebrews had familiarity with and were influenced by whilst writing their own scripture during the Babylonian captivity circa 500/600 BC. Do some basic historical research with an open mind and the truth is staring you right in the face.

As far as I know (Ishtar) was associated with Venus, but she is not goddess of Venus unlike Sîn who is the god of the moon. They were pagan beliefs , just because prophet's pbuh father might have worshipped them doesn't mean anything, great example would be the story of prophet abrham pbuh . Quran 43:17 And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison [i.e., a daughter], his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 43:18 So is one brought up in ornaments while being during conflict unevident [attributed to Allāh]? Edit : 43:19 And they described the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, as females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned. Edit : Also the main argument is that the triad is specifically mentioned (venus , moon and Sun ) which was proven to be the prominent gods which formed the triad at that time

Prophets pray for their ummah but Muslims are required to pray for their prophet 5 times a day. Why? Do Muslims not have confidence in Muhammad? There is a narration in Sahih Muslim (5042) where Muhammad said: "None of you is admitted to heaven because of his deeds and is not saved from hell because of it, not even me except because of the mercy of Allah." Allah also says in the Quran (66:8): "...and hopefully you are saved, get out of it, as in your dream. But remember that you have no guarantee of certainty, even though you have repented completely." Hopefully? And what does Allah say He would do to Muhammad for making up revelation? He would cut off his aorta. (Quran 66:44) And what did Muhammad say that the poison did to him? It has cut off his aorta. (Bukhari Hadith 4428)

Fussilat 41: Verse 3) Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْتَغِى حَكَمًا وَهُوَ الَّذِىٓ أَنْزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكِتٰبَ مُفَصَّلًا  ۚ وَالَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنٰهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُۥ مُنَزَّلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ  ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ "[Say], "Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?" And those to whom We [previously] gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters." (QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 114) So her Question was Why doesn't the Quran make that clear? Why is there Absolutely no chronology or point Of reference in the "CLEAR" Quran,making the man made Hadith/tafsir necessary? and the author of the Quran even abrogates it can't Allah make up his/Thier mind? Allah claims to have given the torah yet if you read the torah it is concise in it's chronology,history The Quran on the other hand appears to written by uneducated by group of people who heard jewish,Christian and sabian scriptures from the merchant around mecca and medina, then spent 23 years rewriting them as Arab history. Of course, the Quran you have is descendants From what uthman and his scribe rewrote,so that could be part of the problem.

So you have 2 unscientific statements of error… and they contradict each other The Qur’an says stars are missiles Allah uses to shoot demons - Surah 37:6-10, 67:5 The Qur’an says that the sky is a physical object that can fall - Surah 22:65 The Qur’an says that space (outer space e.g. Stars) was created after Earth - Surah 2:29 The Quran says that milk comes from the stomach if cows and is pure to drink as is (it comes from the udders, and isn't healthy to drink - Surah 16:66 The Quran says that sex determination happens while the baby is already in the mothers womb and is flesh - Surah 75:37, Sahih al-Bukhari 1:6:315 Rainwater that is sent down isn't pure, but has already been contaminated with carbon dioxide (even as early as it going up as vapour) - Surah 25:48
