This video shows a lot of the Quran, but it doesn't show any interesting pre-Islamic history or science. The entire Earth "came from the sky" if you want to be technical, as did all the planets, as it took billions of years of star formation to form the heavy elements found around us. However, people in the ancient times knew that iron fell from the sky in the form of meteorites - these were easily found in the desert sands (and in the Arctic snow). 5300 years ago, in the pre-literate time before Egypt became a single state ruled by a pharaoh, a man was buried in a sandy grave in the Gerzeh cemetery (70km south of modern Cairo) with an iron meteorite. Some of Egypt’s earliest preserved religious writings which date from approximately 2375 BC but are likely to have been composed much earlier, connect iron with aspects of the sky. For most of Egypt’s long history, iron was a rare and exotic material sourced from meteorites. The Sumerian name for iron was “an-bar,” which meant “fire from heaven.” These are just two cultures that recognized that iron came from sky/meteorites, you can do research on others if you'd like. Most of the Earth's iron is in the core, there is a lot in the crust, and meteors make up a tiny fraction but were the first accessible source for some cultures. They recognized however that it fell from the sky, so the Quran is not unique in saying something along those lines. And, the same Arabic word for "sent down" says that the Quran, cows and clothes were sent...

@@theastronomer5800no one said the Quran was unique in this knowledge. What you’re missing here is that this knowledge died with the ancient world, no one in Muhammad’s time had any method of deciphering ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics or cuneiform. How could he know that?

Allah said he had sent down the iron to earth because it's scientifically proven that iron is not an earthy material.

Charity and volunteerism are for me same as breathing.Its that NATURAL. Allah's will to me.

Quran is the best narrative (hadith). It is not a fabricated narration [hadith]. What narration (hadith) other than this Quran will they believe in. And what way [Sunnah] will they follow except G-d's system, the only Sunnah.

But in quran the word "WA anzalna" which means sent down has been used a number of times for example in quran 39:6 Allah says he sent down cattles so that does not mean cattle comes from the sky we muslims interpret in that way as iron is sent from the sky

The word (day) in arabic have so many meanings - and in this verse it means that Allah created heavens and earth in six stages and in so much time (This is very normal information and everyone knows it،one of the last stages of creating the heavens and the earth was the stage of creating the sun and the moon and the daily cycle) hope that helped you In short, the word day here means a stage Hope its help :')

Now we know iron on the surface of earth mainly come from meteorites from the sky, which is as per the Quran ,iron we use didn't obtain from the center of earth. Quran is from the god, it cannot be wrong.

@@carpediem7654 I appreciate you brother for accepting this as truth, but to tell like that in a book like Quran which was presented over a period of 23 years without any contradictions is a miracle as its not practically possible from an illiterate layman like prophet Muhammad. Only asset he was having before his prophethood was his character and honesty not the knowledge about the past cultures. Answer to the second part of question is, Quran is not revealed as a science book even though it has hundreds of scientific truths, rather its purpose was to guide the humanity to succeed this world and hereafter. may god bless you with his rewards.
