Quitting my job to travel the world and chase my dreams
Escaping the 9-5 is something I have thought about before even being trapped in a 9-5 at all. I never thought of myself as fitting in the corporate office life. I just didn't see myself sitting behind a desk for the coming 40 years.
Not just because I don't like office politics or the fact that an office is not a very dynamic environment, or the fact that having a "steady job" is not so steady and secure as it might seem. But mainly because I think there are different ways of utilizing my strenghths and bringing value to the world that I can combine with my interesets like travelling, videography and storytelling.
In this video I explain how I plan on quitting my job, escaping the 9-5 life by leaving everything behind to go travel the world for 1 full year, focussing on developing myself as a content creator.

I really hope you make it. I work at a law firm and it’s draining my soul. I have contemplated quitting and just leaving to another country for all the same reasons you just described. It’s scary and I have no clue how I’d do it. I really hope you make it. I don’t know who you are, but I just hope you make it.

Thanks Quintessa. Trust me I'm scared too. But the thing is, I was scared at every "important" decision I had to make and I'm still scared going into this adventure. But being scared is not a bad thing. It means you're doing something good. If you live in your own comfortable bubble, not challenging yourself, you will never feel scared, but you will also not experience much of life either. If I could give you one tip to make it waay less scary: have a plan. Figure out what you like doing and how you could make an income with that. Then write down all the things you need to do to get their. Save up some money for 3-6 months of living, just in case. And then just go for it. 99% sure you'll end up at a better place then where you're at right now. Worst case scenario: you tried something, learned and end up right back where you are right now. Just go for it, and in the mean time I'll try to keep inspiring..
Man... Stefan. I just stumbled across your channel and am blown away. Your passion bleeds through the screen. I have no doubt you will achieve your dreams. It's funny how many parallels I see in my life to yours. I have a 100% remote job working for Amazon and will be testing out the Digital Nomad life by moving to Merida, MX for a month in October. My gf and I have dreams of travelling together and are working every day to make them a reality. Cheers to you for taking the leap next year.

I am having an awakening to what I actually want for myself in this life and I have put it out into the universe and am starting to plant seeds now.
