I was making $12000 a month with my CDL . Dealing with DOT , break downs , fuel , maintenance $$$, Dock workers who are always on breaks 😂. Insurance, truck payments. No thanks

look at truckersedge and check rates b4 youbdo. van rates are complete shit right now. you'll have to be good at lining up multiple deliveries to same general areas to compete with semi truck companies 👌

An authority isn’t needed to become an owner operator and sign on with the carrier. That’s the easiest way to start so that way you can learn before you go into that type of business approach .

I’m currently working for an airline right now and debating whether to switch over or not. I’m too nervous to try cause I don’t wanna buy a van and ended up with no load/dispatch or whatever you call it. Any advise would help.

How much did the vehicle cost you? How many hours do you work a week? How much money do you take home after all the vehicle expenses such as gas, insurance, registration, maintenance such as cleaning, brakes, oil with filter change, transmission repairs and engine repairs are done and tires of course? Is it better to rent a vehicle or buy it?

Lots of people don’t know that financial freedom is a great feeling and they barely have what it takes to work a 9 to 5

Going to a CDL job is probably going to be a mistake.. loads are being moved at $1.40 a mile. With that rate, you won't make a dollar by the end of the year.

Go to the LTL companies, give them your business card and sell yourself. Let them know if they are in need of moving cargo that you are available. Give them all the info such as the load capacity of your van, available hours, phone number and any other relevant information. It's tough at first but you have to prove yourself to these companies. They are not just going to give their cargo to anyone. SELL YOURSELF!
