Could you please make a video or advise how the cutting edge on the blank is designed

That's amazing but, you over explained the obvious and failed to explained the not so obvious. How did the second process avoid or eliminate the nose wrinkles?

by putting the tool down on a fixture and tripling the pressure, the third one was the same as the second with 1/3 the pressure just like the first one without the fixture.

tommie293 , He added blank holder then there is the aluminium sheet over it and then there is the yellow pad on top. Basically the aluminium sheet gets trapped between the blank holder and the yellow pad, and at the same time it gets pressed into the cavity. This together creates stretching action on the aluminium blank eliminating wrinkles. Where ever the sheet gets stretched, its thickness is reduced.

Great video - fascinating to watch. Do you need to ever sharpen the cutting edge of the tool or is the tool simply replaced?

just finished going over them and immediately wants to do a recap. Damn mate I got it first time around. use only 50 bars and job be perfect with no blank holder. Am I right or what?

...and probably tool is not designed correctly thats way. Second example shows reasons why wrinkles appears and forming process "stopped"

The blank wrinkling requires some parts of its perimeter to fold down and others to stay up. The outer tool, being overlapped by the blank, keeps the perimeter of the blank on a common plane, so that material is compressed or expanded where ever it needs to without the bending moments pushing the blank out of its relative plane. At the beginning of the pressing, a bead forms into the gap of the inner and outer tools, which temporarily stabilizes it further.

I'll swing by Walmart and pick up a high pressure molding machine but I'm pretty sure they don't carry the quality of aluminum needed...... this guy looks a lot like Jon Voit
