Hi Donna, I wish I had that skill of choosing the right fabrics to go with each other to make a stunning quilt. I am 62 yrs old and I said once I retired I would take up quilting. Although I retired for medical reasons and I'm disabled now I can still sew etc. So I am taking up quilting with an absolute passion. I'm half way through a Cake Layer combo from 3 Sisters of Moda. I hope it looks good when it's finished lol. Love watching you do step by step from the start to finish, thankyou. Michelle

@@kodhii3091 LOL Kodhi, if I could sit for 12 hours straight I would be there in all my quilting glory lol. I do love it though but I lack confidence in choosing complementary patterns and colours to go with each other. It's why I will choose packs until I get the idea lol. Happy quiliting, Michelle

What a wonderful colorful pattern! I am definitely interested in doing this quilt and having it out for the summer! I can see this adding a lot of color and fun to our evening smores outings!

I love how easy you are to understand and follow. I have been binge watching your videos and just love your teaching methods. I just started a beginner's quilting tutorial and the first block is the same as the base block in the quilt. I couldn't for the life of me figure out from the directions in the tutorial how that last piece worked. Finally I looked through your videos until I found one where you were explaining how to make the same block. What a light bulb minute, now i can finish my lesson. Thanks again for being such a great teacher

I'm 4 feet 10 inches tall and after seeing your tip about a hand weight in a different video, I went out and bought one. Boy, am I glad I did! I had tried taping my ruler down with painter's tape to keep it secure, but that was somewhat wasteful of both tape and time. The weight works perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing that tip with us, and thank you for all your beautiful tutorials and quilt patterns.

donna ,you make it look so easy.it will take me a whole day to cut and stich a pillow case like that.

Superb! I've followed JB and her fabric line for quite a while. Her border design quilt patterns are quite amazing but I am a little intimidated by them, yet. This pattern, on the other hand, is sooooo doable and it gives such a good taste of all her wonderful color palate. I repeat, superb!

When you carried your cutting mat over to the machine I laughed. We do so much alike.
