    Great video. So great to see you using a King Quilter and the Butler. I have a Butler on my Tin Lizzie (about 12 years old) and I love it. Enjoyed this very much.

    These tutorials have helped me become better familiar with the Butler system on my machine than any others I've seen so far. Thank you, Becky.

    Becky, thank you for your videos on the Butler! Your teaching is so enlightening for me. I just bought a long arm with the Butler 3 months ago and you have taught me so much to be able to have the confidence to keep going. Thank you again! ❤️

    Thank you sooooo much for the link to the scissor pen. Bought 3 different ones and not happy. Also your video s the most information on the QBOT Butler system. I love ya! You have helped me so much. I bought the hammock you mentioned too. I chose the Qnique over the King quilter. God bless you!

    While I don’t have the butler for robotics I found this super helpful. I find it difficult to figure out quilting that’s not e2e. I like seeing how you broke down your quilt by shapes to decide on your quilting. My robotics can do similar by isolating a particular shape. I look forward to more longarm videos if you decide to do more. Personally just seeing someone going through the process I pick up all sorts of insight and how to improve my process. I appreciate all the hard work you put into educating on KZread.

    Think I have the same setup as you…a Grace frame , a Power Quilter 3 which is also the Tin Lizzie and the the EZ Quilter robotics. There is a little bit of a learning curve as there is with any machine but I find it very easy to use. I’ve had it about three years with no major problems, just user error. I started watching this video earlier but paused it to see you and Keith live with Russ. Really enjoyed the show with the woodworkers! Now back to this show.

    Hey Becky, Love your video. When you are at the beginning instead of putting in your area pattern box (size of fabric) you can just hit the "+ "2 times and it will give you a default box size. After you have stitched your line for your top placement you can hit layout and then input your actual quilt size for your quilting pattern. I hope this helps. (Someone else may have already put this in the comments, but I didn't read all of them. Sorry if this is repetition.)

    I use QTC. They call things like the first area Safe Zone. which is the size that the machine can quilt in top to bottom. Then you can set the actual quilt size within it.

    When you do the baste stitches, you disengage the robotics? I do but not sure. Thinking you don’t need to drag robotics all the way? Haven’t forgot the email I’m going to send.trying to do maintenance on my machine and had thread issues with this poly thread that was awful. Went back to glide, no off brand for me. Too much headaches.asking I need help in nesting! Ty

  • @PowerToolsWithThread

    @PowerToolsWithThread

    2 жыл бұрын

    I think the trick to nesting is to move the machine to the very bottom of the previous row of stitches BEFORE you tap the Nest button. Then it all seems to work. That's the step that has been left out of the manual. Then follow the prompts. It will feel like you're tapping OK out of sequence and ahead of the next step, but oddly it works.
