well.... no way to filter water , add a mini Sawyer and a stainless steel water bottle, not a fan of the bladders, not easy to boil water in a bladder, and heavy when full, no need for the plate, eat out of the cup or pot, you've got a stove, but no way to light it, add a Bic lighter and a ferro rod, teach them how to use the ferro rod, i've seen those blastmatch break, plus get more food, ditch the eatin tool, get a long spoon from the dollar store, those mylar blankets aren't going to last very long, and the emergency bivy will not keep you warm below 40 degrees, add a heavy duty e blanket/tarp like a Grabber, and a real poncho with a liner , the poncho can be used for a shelter and rain gear, and will cover the pack as you're hiking, if you trust the child with a folder, give them a mora companion, if you're trying to avoid people, the soap bar might be scented, use unscented wipes, also the first aid lavender cream, and the scent might attract animals, add a roll of electrical tape to use with the gauze, works better than the white medical tape, also i would add a wool jacket or sweater, wool will keep you warm even when wet and is fire resistant, not so with the fleece. also why are you wearing surgical gloves? i'm not trying to be a jerk, i apologize if you take it that way. i'm not an expert, but i do have some experience. i just think some of your gear is not durable, and some gear i would replace. suggestion.... check out the 10c's on youtube.

at least he's not wearing tacticool gloves like magic prepper to shovel oatmeal into a mylar bag. but I suspect he will never use this kit and send it all back after hoping to get street cred reviewing stuff

No offense, but even for a kid, that kit is lacking some serious, basic and necessary gear while other is completely unnecessary.

This is a good first start, but keep working on it. You have some oversized items, and you are missing some critical items.

How are you a pro ? this looks more like you broke into someone's house and started a review of what you found. boy scouts and any infantrymen has more experience in bugging out with way less gear. keep it up man, either a great laugh or you will find your path

I’d rather carry a boo boo kit with basic medication than a tourniquet.

Not a bad start. With your channel name & your presentation you come across like you know what you're talking about but then you show the contents & everything is brand new plus your items don't work together. It appears you made this kit for you kid off extra stuff you had left over. Why have a plate but only a cliff bar? Why carry a water bladder but not iodine tablets? Why have a stove but no dehydrated meals? Build a bag with food & cooking supplies but no real shelter considerations? Like I said its not a bad start just seems very thrown together. Still liked & subbed. Good luck with the channel! Look forward to seeing your growth & adaptations. Maybe for content do a test run & film it. I love those videos.
