For me, I was able to copy and paste the column into Word and delete all 0. Then bring back into Excel.

In Word ^p is a carriage return line feed so you use Ctrl-H. Find ^p^p and replace with ^p do this until all the excess carriage return line feeds are gone.
Very handy method. Especially using the shortcuts. Thanks for posting.

Thank you so, SO much for this incredibly helpful tutorial ! I have been trying to figure this out for WEEKS haha =D
Brilliant. The simple solutions are often the best.
Awesome! Really simple and effective. I still wonder if there is such a magic way to stack columns, but having the first column as the primary key, and then repeating them along the new stacked columns. Very useful when you have the KPI Titles in rows, and the periods are in the columns titles. It seems Excel works better when you have the opposite, with KPIs Titles leading the columns and then the Periods under a single "Period" Column. I believe Power BI has a "Unpivot" function that does that.

Sure, so the magic starting beneath column B instead of column A. Then, under the last cell of column A, reference the first cell of column A, and as you drag down column A, it will repeat the cells in column A again and again.
Mate this is magic hahaha Thanks for this! It potentially saved my team a lot of time!

is there any excel settings that need to be set first? because i could follow until ctrl + R, but after i pressed ctrl + D, it didn’t appear like it should. It was only blank

There are no settings that need to be set first. Ctrl r simply fills from left to right within a highlighted range, ctrl d fills from top to bottom. If ctrl r or ctrl d is not working, then there probably was a glitch in one of the early steps, and the top or left most cell was not filled. To troubleshoot, before you hit ctrl r, check if the top left cell of the highlighted section has anything in it, if not you may have missed an earlier step, if yes, then there's some sort of issue that's beyond the scope of this tutorial.
Very useful. thanks
great video

Super Genius!!
I wonder if this way multi columns values can be listed in one then same SKU (Values duplication and single to be counted for an inventory purpose please help, Thanks
@tutorialsforeveryone1064
Жыл бұрын
You can do this, and then do a COUNTIF in the next column to count duplicates. You can then do remove duplicates to remove the duplicates (search Google for COUNTIF and Remove Duplicates if you're not familiar)
Thank you for this! I have a slight twist. Is it possible to have the columns return in column order? There will be no way for me to sort the data once it is populated under the last row and it must be placed in column order.
@tutorialsforeveryone1064

The data populates under the first column in the order of the columns. (Column 1, underneath that column 2, etc) Please clarify how you want it to sort, and I'll let you know if I have a way.
