How did you add the new columns to properly transform the shape to the magazine?

first press control or commad + T then click on warp tool which would be on top.
What if there are two blank pages and I want to use both of them with just one design? For example, one poster for two blank pages. thank you.

after creating smart object. just double click on smart layer then i will be open in new tab where you can place your design and save and close that. so it will replace into design
