Thank you, I didn't want to go the viewtainer route and that's what I came up with. I am really happy with the pack out storage. it is really working well. I haven't found any issues with its function yet and knock on wood I would build it again the same way.

No sense in me commenting this three years later. But that blank space on the wall looks like the perfect spot for a first aid kit, eye wash station, and fire extinguisher. You can also consider mounting tubs of blue rags and wet wipes.

do you like the rear door vs a ramp on your trailer?
@fenloebellllc
3 жыл бұрын
The ramp is nice and simple but it only works one way and needs 6.5' to 7' behind the trailer to open it. I like the versatility of the rear doors.I only need 4'. I can open them and get in and get what I need and close them up. If I want more flat room behind the trailer I can fold them 180 degrees so they are on the sides of the trailer and completely out of the way leaving me more flat round outside to work. When I am standing on the ground and accessing the drawers, level and track storage at the back of the trailer it is at a comfortable height. if I had the ramp I would need to bend over more. all in all not a huge deal but nice. In the end either will work. you just have to decide which will work BEST for you.

@@AsaBlazecongrats on the trailer and plans. an exciting project ahead for you. the insulation is just a cheap foil faced iso foam from the big box store. Its just pressure fit in the walls and ceiling in-between the joists. then I went over the ceiling again covering over the aluminum joists with a layer of 1/2". Its held up with spray adhesive and the wood strips I mounted my lights to. I would use more spray adhesive and or another row of wood strips if I did it again. I noticed yesterday the 1/2" layer is sagging in one spot. Others wise all is working great.
