    I love using the 1mm pellet and are awesome with a little bit of groundbait. Definitely a game changer. But 1mm on their own is awesome and so easy to prepare and use. I do love Sonubaits pellets and groundbaits. I never go fishing without Sonubait products in my bag. Keep up the great baits. Thanks Des & Sonubaits for this video. Tight Lines Guys

    I love the 1mms and the 2mms for my winter method feeder fishing and the band ems in the washed out with the washed out flavour is fantastic. I rate Sonubaits above anything I’ve used.

    I saw in the movie from 2018 that you recommend soaking 2mm pellets for 10 seconds and here in the movie it takes 2 minutes. Which way is better?

    Before I got a pellet wetter (Preston Innovations one, won't have anything else). I got a little net fruit bag from Sainsbury's. Worked a treat for soaking pellets as it's a very fine mesh

    I am a bit confused.. On the pellet instruction, it says to soak it for 2min for the 2mm ones, and here you soak them for 40+ mins without using a net. Do both methods work the same, or they are done in different situations? 50/50 water/pellets for 40mins+ or water to the top and soak for 2 mins then dry with net ?

    Those 1mm pellets have caught me plenty of good sized fish over these colder months but what I would really like to know is, what was des dropping his method/hook link in whilst he got that last carp out the net??

    Great as ever Des. One question if I may - You're using KKM hooks here; when would you use the MCM range as I was under the impression these were specifically designed for method feeder fishing?

  • @Sonubaits

    @Sonubaits

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Simon, The MCM is the strongest of the eyed hook range and is therefore my choice when targeting big carp when they are at their most active. Usually from Spring to Autumn. At the minute the fish are fairly docile so the KKM is strong enough and gives me a nice critically balanced presentation with a 6mm Band'Um

    Hi Des, Do you prepare the 1mm pellets then add them to ground bait, or just mix them dry with ground bait?

  • @Sonubaits

    @Sonubaits

    Prepare them separately so that you can adjust the quantities throughout your session. In the summer, for edge fishing for example 50/50 groundbait/1mm Pellets will be awesome though!

    @@kevinwatson1590 Are you talking about the Pro Pellets? If so, I do them differently to what they recommend. I only soak them for :- 8mm - 1½hours, 6mm - ¾hour. I haven't tried the 4mm yet, but I would think around 30 mins. I drain most of the water off and they go into an air tight tub, one where you click the sides down, and leave them overnight. With that they're perfect and will withstand many short range casts.

  • @Sonubaits

    For the 1mm's and 2mm's it's perfect. For the 4mm's if you do the same and leave them in the fridge overnight you are left with a lovely soft through pellet. Just takes a little longer for them to soften. 👌
