I can just imagine my grandmother rolling over in her grave. The hours we spent as a family every year polishing silver for Christmas dinner was astounding. From silverware to every serving vessel nothing could have a spot of tarnish. Your craft is nitchie and some may love it but these days traditions of years past are gone.

Considering Barb gets her silver from the Goodwill, I'd say that's where the tradition took a left turn. She loves it and shows us ways to incorporate it in a more modern way which is much more respectful than dumping it off, imo.

Love the idea and you could put a paper doily down to get your red, green etc.!🥰

I love old silver! Polish it up and use it everyday or make something from it as you have.
