I'm 69 and thought I knew my home style, but you have opened my mind to so many new things - I love so much of the modern lamps and accessories and ooh - coffee tables. I have been a fan for a little over two years. Valentina is one awesome lady , she loves what she does and really enjoys sharing everything with us. They also do Amazon lives on Saturdays around 11:00 you should check it out if you don’t already know about it. They won’t be there this Saturday because of travel but they will be back the following Saturday. You will love it!

I too am 69 and we are selling our home, we hope, and moving to the Oklahoma country. I will be making a new home mine for the first time in 17 years! I love Valentina's style of clean lines. Thank you for all the turn ons to shops and ideas.

I have changed my take on seasonal decor because of you Valentina. I have two young children and would spend money on all those cute decorative pieces but you taught me it's more about the feel,smell,fabrics that help set the tone. I still put a few of the cutesy things in their rooms but don't overdo it. Thanks for continuing to inspire us.

Valentina, how many of the cherry blossom stems did you use in that vase? I like how full it looks. And I have a very similar vase size wise from HomeGoods. That every time I look at that vase I think of you because it has the bumps like the H&M planters. It’s taupe with little speckles on it! I love it! It’s such a focal point in our dining room!

I'm so giddy for spring! You have helped me save SO much $$ not buying so much seasonal decor, which ends up feeling like clutter in our smaller apartment.

Yes! I hear her voice in my head as I am "window shopping" and stop my self from buying things that'll just add to my already minimal storage. It has saved me money! I can buy an extra set of shoes now, I mean why not? 😄

I have started decorating for the seasons-nature rather than the holidays. Good quality Essential Oils in the diffuser also have a very pure and natural scent and I’ve switched off candles for oils. Using Lemongrass today. Yummy

Am I right when I go to Afloral and see magnolia branches at $36 per branch? If so that’s pricey regardless of how lovely they are 😢

You get pretty excited about florals. 😊 $38.00 for one section,(sprig)from the site/link(and that is on sale)for the cherry blossom looking one is a bit spendy and it would take 3-4 in a vase to get the fullness you are showing. But they are pretty.

@@lindaga820 Yes. More realistic price. As an artist I see those she showed as too perfect. The leaf part looked a little off too. I would shop around for sure. I cannot see spending $150.00+ to fill a vase with fake flowers($38.00 × 4 add in tax, etc.). Eeek!

I agree with your sentiments about switching out your candles to reflect the season. I’m currently loving Pottery Barn’s Mission Fig + Amber. I purchased 3 candles and a large reed diffuser. It allows me to experience a continuous flow of its essence through out the day.

I always told my husband that when we buy a home l would plant a magnolia tree, and we just put an offer in a house that has 4 magnolia trees... I cannot wait for closing day to get in the house and see those four trees blooming. by the way l am so inspired by you and your style and your home, I finally found a designer that inspires me. Hi Valentina, I found your channel during the covid lockdowns and have been binge watching past uploads and making sure I don't miss your new ones. You & Jack make me smile how you interact with each other. I've been holding back on using faux plants/greenery in my house.. particularly because my husband is an Agriculturalist and dislikes them. He says we have enough real plants on our rural acreage here in QLD Australia that I don't need to use fake lol! But, after watching this segment... I am absolutely going to get some. I even emailed Afloral to see if they ship to Australia but unfortunately they do not. I will have to have them delivered to a friend in the US then have them forwarded to me. Could you possibly do a video on how you arrange your florals, eg: do you use floral foam inside your vessels, how many stems in each vessel to have it looking nice and full etc etc. Will definitely be checking out your throw suggestions via Amazon. Very jealous, it is still cold, wet, rainy and wintry in the UK. I still have my painted easter eggs on my tree, not giving that up, but have switched up the candle situation. It helps me feel like maybe the sun will come out someday....

She should mention it for those who can afford it. Then you find something with the as similar of a look as you can afford. She should get what she can afford and we adjust to our budget. If she doesn’t mention it won’t we all ask where she got it ?

I have always been a plant person, live plants. I now have pets that like to eat my plants and after googling many of my plants are indeed poisonous to cats & dogs. I’m sad to say I’m replacing live with faux stems. I like your posts on this subject. Not only are they good for those w/ brown thumbs but for your pet’s safety (unless your pets eat the faux too lol)
