Quick & Simple Method to Animate Hand Writing with Canva
Using Canva join me in creating this simple method of animating handwritten chalkboard animation on Canva.
The Click and Drag of an Element animation are available to Free and Pro users. Take note, though, that each animation can only be 10 seconds long at the maximum. A design can have a maximum of 50 animations created.
More animations and transitions are available to Canva Pro, Canva for Teams, Canva for Education, and Canva for Nonprofits users. They’re tagged with a 👑 icon from the options.

I'm a dyslexic teacher and want to do videos that break words up etc. E.g ; 1. Colours of parts of words change, 2. Capitalising for example explains "where" wHERE 3. Words disapear/fade in and out or drop off screen etc Does canva cover this?

Hi Mike If you want to create videos with movement with Canva you can definitely do that. With using the video canvas & animations there's a lot you can accomplish for example with your example questions you can do the following: 1. Add Different text boxes and each box has a different color, for example on page one you could have one word and add animation, and on the second page/slide, add second word with different colors and even add effects (wiggle etc.) 2. With Capitalising, use the above similar example and add a zoom effect like I did with one of my recent videos. 3. The Type writer animation is free for all users, make sure you've selected the text and choose Text Animation and not Page Animation
