Its rarely used because they give us so many safer ways to counter and build spirit. Out of all counters, Tempered Spirit Blade is the most risky in my opinion. I wish it gave an attack or sharpness buff when you pull it off. Otherwise, what's the point at using it other than its fun to use?

Looks like it builds spirit level, which is quite handy, and it can be activated nearly instantly without having to do another attack first, so it's very safe.

So you're telling me the final boss was peppo all this time.

the second wirebug counter at 5:00 was so close to not being off cooldown, that shit was crazy. I cant believe he went for that instead of the other counter that makes you leap backwards.

Me neither. So gone are days building up for roundhouse slash. It’s all dodge counter to build levels and no more jump head splitter. Now it’s use all 3 bars for 3 combo attack.

They are using tempered spirit blade to gain levels because it’s the fastest unsheathing counter. Then when they get red they use a new silkbind that takes gauge to unleash a very strong 3 hitter. Iai slash and the jumping move were heavily nerfed going to sb so they aren’t they most effective strat for speeedrunning

oh i genuinely love tempered spirit slash the way it lets you counter during windows where you normally wouldn't be able to (like whiffing the sacred sheathe counter) is just so neat

I stopped mh rise before sunbreak was released but when I see all new abilites that ls and others weapons got, plus when it is used at this level of skill, I really want to come back on the game. It was very impressive, well played 👍

All I've wanted since Day 1 was my Quick Sheath Lv3 3-2-1 Charm, someday... Thanks for teaching me some of those routes, I either never knew or forgot you can special sheathe cancel a foresight slash halfway, and I still haven't learned the timing for Tempered Spirit Blade. Well done Hunter!

I just switched to Raging Brachy 2 set and Teostra 3 set after using Velkhana armor with the quick sheathe 3 having only damage decorations now I miss it sorely. Taking 10 years to sheath to heal myself is a pain

The past few months iv been hard at yu-gi-oh dual masters while patiently waiting for sunbreak. It's so ironic to me you used this sound track of Yu-gi-oh . Sunbreak is here now on Xbox and I'm putting yugioh to rest. Obviously Peppo is the 1st longsword guide I needed to see. So cool. Lol
