Today, we're enumerating drug-resistant Tuberculosis regimens as part of NTEP - National Tuberculosis Control Programme , INDIA.
The MDR/ Rifampicin Resistance Regimens include -
1.Long Oral Bedaquiline containing Regimen
2.Shorter Oral Bedaquiline Regimen
3. Short Injectable Regimen
Abbreviations: LFx- Levofloxacin
BDq- Bedaquiline
LZD- Linezolid
Cfz- Clofazimine
Cs- Cycloserine
Hh- High Dose Isoniazid
E- Ethambutol
ETo- Ethionamde
Z - Pyrazinamide
MFx- Moxifloxacin
K- Kanmycin
Am- Amikacin
MDR long oral :
LZD# LZD dose to be reduced after initial 6-8 months
BDq given for 6 months
