“Fountains of red squares” 😂 Particle Playground has so much potential but you’re right its controls obscure that. Another great tutorial

@@SternFX You are so welcome. I've been an After Effects devotee for 22 years now, but I am still learning new things from you :) And nobody else has your wonderful sense of humour on top of all your knowledge. Please don't stop!

can ask you one more question. Why is my AE slow when I try to do something like that. The specifications on my computer are Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor Number of Cores: 12 Speed: 3.9 GHz Stepping: 2 Memory (RAM): 32 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Dedicated Memory: 12 GB Manufacturer: Nvidia and everything is on the C drive except that I save projects and work on another drive and like the disk cache that is located in another folder. Can you help me? Thanks in advance

It sounds like a decent machine but I'm not an hardware expert, and I don't think I can help with that.

Try to look into Preferences - Memory & Performance and enable multi frame rendering, it may help. Also make sure that under Media & Disk Cache settings you have fair amount of space available for cache files.

Can you use this "physics system" with more control over somthing else than characters ? (is it possible to use multiple graphic objects or comps as particles ?)

Not really, it's a limited system. This is why I've asked if you keen to see a (paid) tool like Newton or Physim

@@SternFX Thanks for the answer ;-) I'm looking for a way (expression or something else) to not having to use those plugins cause they're too expensive for my personal projects :-(

@@neoced9293 There's a limit of what can be achieved with the built in tools. You can try to use Physm which is now in Beta so it won't cost you anything, or a trial version of Newton. If this doesn't work for you consider learning Blender which is free but at a cost of a step learning curve.
