Quick Messy Bun Tutorial | Medium Length Hair
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hey everyone! Today I wanted to show you my quick messy bun for medium length hair. This hairstyle works best on short to medium length hair. It’s quick and easy and only requires a couple of bobby pins and two hair elastics. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Even without looking at the screen I knew exactly how to follow your instructions and that's important for me because I'm legally blind and no one has successfully described a messy bun to me yet. I know this video is like three years old but thanks a lot I appreciate you

This made my day 🥰 thanks for letting me know it worked for you! I'm so happy my verbal descriptions were clear for you to follow! 💗
Most practical bun tutorial I've seen yet and you're the only person I've seen to actually show how to use a Bobby pin the right way! Amazing. Thank you👏🏼
her: does it quickly me: *takes 30 minutes to tie my hair into a ponytail*

I love the fact that this works on shorter hair. With most messy bun tutorials the hair has to be longer so it didn't work for me. This seems like it would work better. It also looks so easy, I can't wait to try it out.
I’m in my 50s and your tutorial has transformed my semi-messy bun! Thank you!
Oh my gosh! This video saved my life I’ve been doing buns wrong for years THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!
This is the first messy bun tutorial that actually works for me! Thanks!
I love how easy and simple this is. Thank you!!

Try doing a lower version of the bun. This would also work with a side or middle part and moving the bun to the nape of your neck :)

Idk...I have a hard time with it as well. Bobby pins. Lots and lots of bobby pins.

This helped so much!! I always have trouble with messy buns; they always come out flat or just not looking right at all. You've got my subscription 🤗💖

Dry texture spray really helps mine not look flat! Sometimes I will 80s tease first too. Lol
Had such a bad hair day and this hairstyle came to the rescue👌💖
Only messy bun tutorial to ever actually work for me. Thank you!

Ok that was brilliant, I just tried it and now have a fabulous messy bun! Thanks for sharing!
This is honestly the best tutorial I've seen and actually makes sense! Thank you 😊
I have the same length as yours and succeeded in just the first try. In fast my first time putting on a bun. Thank you so much!
I’m going to practice this tonight! Looks great on you!
I just tried this cuz I’m desperately trying to avoid heating products and it was so easy to do and looks awesome :) thank u!!!
So so helpful. Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial ❤️ 😊🎉
Thank you so much for this!! My hair is slightly longer than yours so was excited to see I can make a decent looking messy bun to cope with this intense heat wave!
I think I have found my new signature hairstyle. Thx for sharing your tips!
Love it! Trying this in the morning! I let my pixie grow out during the pandemic lockdowns and have no idea how to style it. This video is perfect!
This is possibly the best most effective method I've tried, ty.
This is insane. I tried it and it was sooo pretty ♥️
Finally I found your hair bun tutorial! It fits me well! Thank you my sweetheart 🥰
Great! Thank you for doing it slowly and in stages so that I could see the back too. I'm going to try it.
Groovy now I have a hairdo for the weekend!
Honestly, that's the best tutorial on the topic!! Thank you so much ❤️
The simplest to make! Great video!
Love the octopus thing! My hair is your length so I was wondering how to create the appearance of volume. Will try this tomorrow, thank you!
This was the best one I’ve ever tried! For the octopus I just had to pull it a lot to make fluffy and then I used the extra strands as volume and it worked great!
This is actually super helpful

can i just say thankyou so much! im a trans woman and i find hair really daunting, alot of videos skip the basic details but you explain it so well. im just hunting for a second hair band but i can tell todays the day i master the messy bun 🤣😂
Hey, I was trying to make this hairstyle for some time but I just couldn’t make it. Thanks to your tutorial (I have pretty same hair length) I can do it now! Thank you so much! :) And you are so beautiful 😻
Girl this is amazing!!! My hair is the same length as yours and has never looked this good in a bun ❤️
Thanks so much this is perfect for my hair. You're adorable!
Thank you so much for the tutorial! It was super helpful and I like the way you explain it and great way to do this as I have been battling to do buns since I cut my hair!
Please keep doing these kind of videos! They are so helpful when trying different ways to wear my hair up. Also half up would be a great tutorial too! Thanks
your hair is so pretty and you seem genuinely kind! x
The style looks so nice. I would like to try it.
This is really cute and I think I can actually do it! Thanks for the tips😊
You have such a positive aura Goddddd I think i am connected to you spiritually 😔
You're such a pretty life saver. Thank you!
My hair is actually about the same length now. I can never figure out how to make my bun look right but I like this video because it’s more detailed and well described. Also I like that you don’t need hair spray or anything. I want quick and easy! You also seem really nice. 😊
Thanks! Simple and good-looking!
I've tried for years and never been successful with literally any messy bun tutorial. This video deserves so much recognition because I finally nailed it because of your video. Thank you so much! 💓
This worked SO WELL!
Wow very nice bun
Love this tutorial. Thank you❤
My hair is a little longer, so I guess it would be a medium to large. It worked well, and instead of using Bobby pins to keep the hair around the bun I used a scrunched and just tucked in any looser hairs. Great job with this style!
Thank you for a great tutorial!!
You saved me. Much love
LOVE THIS
wow im rlly excited to try this!!
finally found a way to do an actually cute messy bunnnnn thank u :D
Elise, this was so clear, so simple, and really helpful! Thank you so much, I'm going to get some practise in-you've made me feel more confident to try! love sue xx

Glad I found this! Thanks!
Great tutorial!!!! Thank you!
this helped so much!! thanks!
Thank you!!!! I have extremely long hair and this worked perfectly even though this video is for short and medium hair. The hardest part for mine was the octopus part but the rest after that was cake. You are fabulous and I love you!
you made my life so much easier
Thank you so much great tutorial 🙂👍
Thank you for the tip! Love your lip color!
Thank you I will try this . 😊
Beautiful 😁
Can’t wait to try this tomorrow morning! Can you do a side bun tutorial? I loved this video. Your pacing is wonderful.
Thanks for the tips lovely
I've never seen that tip about putting the bobby pin in vertically...thank you!!
@EliseLuise

It's a game changer for hiding those stray hairs!
Thanks!😀
I do the same and if you want more volume or a bigger bun , make your high pony using a scrunchie and put the hair over the scrunchie to make it look big.
Yoo thanks gurl it helped me a lot
Thank you for this great tutorial! Your bun looks so pretty, and I love your little trick at the end about putting the bobby pin in vertically. 😊
