Best peace of advice I'll give anyone. Expect to lose 45-50% of the time depending on support from teammates and the fact that there's always new players out there. You can predict a match before the first 3 minutes are up whether you'll win or lose, depending on what the radar looks like, and how many ships are left in the battle no matter what ship build you run.

The best you or i can do is try and get a decent amount of xp in each battle.

Theres so much to pay attention to in this game it can feel overwhelming when starting out. Sometimes you get caught out and dont understand why. Its so rewarding when you have good engagements though! To newer players, just stick with it and itll come. I played pc 100yrs ago and am getting back into it.

Cruisers are my favorite line. I find many players are unsure on how to play them so they park behind the closest island to where they spawn and they end up doing some fire damage before getting stomped. Getting rid of dd’s one have know where the dd will go to spot and then position your’e self so you can shot at it when its spotted by the friendly dd.

Most of the time i end up spotting the dd when im playing the same class but no one is interested or in a position to shot at it, innstead they are fire spamming the BB’s. I will say if i Get the feeling that they will let me die to a gunboat dd i ditch them🤷‍♂️

Just got Anchorage off of campaign. Then got Rochester in a create. Then picked up witchita. Really am struggling on heavy cruisers. Find myself using witchita alot but still struggling and getting frustrated because i know what all three heavy cruisers are capable of. Any thoughts and advice.

Auto aim has been kinda glitchy for a long time. When it works, I find usually it doesn't put quite enough lead, esp against destroyers.

Yeah auto aim is rarely perfect but does help to get an idea of where to aim quickly then adjusting aim based off experience

I've always been more of the open water moving around cruiser player. Peniscola did that for me.

It's amazing other people I see on videos hitting citadel like crazy but I'm lucky to get 1

From what I've learned playing Omaha, Dallas, Pensacola, and Helena: Islands are your friend Kill destroyers Annoy battleships Don't get hit Switch ammmo Every match all of sudden has 6 high teir battleships per side because matchmaking hates me

I was expecting at the end of the match you’d switch to team results AND LOOK AT THAT TOP OF THE LEADERBOARD 😂😂😂

It's possible by making sure you're locked onto the target and then using the games auto aim to get close and adjusting aim from there

The belt is the thickest armor located at the water line it is mainly to help protect against torpedoes

On the aiming reticle you'll see a little white mountain symbol which means your shells will likely hit the island

Galissoniere is my Achilles heel. I cannot wrap around it's faults. Not a lot of dpm, meh torps, and meh guns that CAN light fire, but are also just not great. Regardless, I'm grinding the French to get Bourgoune and Colbert. Also for the French memes. Also hello Spartan.

Honestly the French cruisers get a nasty AP and because of their high velocity you can hit with ease even at longer ranges whether starting fires or punishing broadsides they are nasty

Honestly the game has become so full of people that like to lose its worn out its welcome on my console. Every match is a loss no matter the effort, or I'll be doing my job, look up and my whole team is toasted, or I'll use land as a barrier and get rushed by 4 ships that just straightline us and get dusted. They really need to cap teams to 1 DD, just like aircraft carriers are capped at 1. 2/3 DD's is too much to deal with
