Could you please confirm what diodes are in SF1000 rev 3? According to albopepper it is not LM301B. Thx

Hello , yes its Samsung lm301D now on New V3 SF ... ( I dont know why they change it , New V3 SF have better diode placement , more LEDs at pannel edge for better light spread and less central hot spot , its a really good Idea but they apply a better placement of diodes and then change the LEDs for less efficient and less efficient ones ... this design is excellent but this change was only commercial and level of profitability for spider farmer, it allows them to place large orders of lm301D chips which are much less in demand and especially MUCH CHEAPER! )

I wonder why Soul diodes were used in the SF7000, I have this light & love it at 70% or less. 80%+ causes heat in tent to spike !

SF7000 is Soul diodes, we use this brand, not famous but premium quality. If it get too hot, move the power outside the tent. The power supply of the SF7000 is removable and has an extension cord. Hope this can help you. Cheers

I might be getting the lm301B model diode from u guys for my indoor garden, let's just hope it lives up to the claims.

@@SpiderFarmer yeh I bought it yesterday got the 100W something 1000 model grow light. It's very slick and good but there ain't no dimming knob, would've been great with that, good thing tho I have a very large tent

I just bought a "SF-1000" off of Amazon. Does this setup have TRUE, "Samsung LM301B diodes" or not? How can one verify it? Also, your description on Amazon needs editing. You aren't checking the spelling. If you need help with your ads (description) maybe we can work something out. I can help.

Hi , if your SF1000 is the new V3 ( with less LEDs in pannel center , more LEDs at pannel edge ) , so you have Samsung lm301D ... Good LEDs but less good and efficient than previous version lm301b ...

@@lesavoirestunearme-7z527 My SF1000 will arrive in a couple of days. I've read where many people were getting fake diodes and driver. Where do I look to see if I have Samsung LM301B? How will I know if it's V3 or something else? First time to buy grow lights for me. Thanks!

@@Kholaslittlespot1 Hi! This was my 1st time to grow indoor plants. My plants started well but went in to Fall mode because our rooms were too cold to grow anything. I started in October. I live in Colorado. My unit didn't get overly hot like some people claim. Light levels are adjustable. Raising and lowering the unit is smooth with a pulley system. I have much to learn about growing plants, just like my cooking "skills".

@@pandarush. Ah, I see. It's hard for me to imagine it getting too cold to grow out in the states! I guess you have a wide range of climates. I live in England, so we get a fair bit of cold weather but it's gorgeous out here right now. I think if I lived in Colorado I would have quite the operation going on ;)
