It’s a normal thing they do when they swallow
I knew someone who found 2 lost kitten in the garden of a geriatric facility. Being on duty and with no help he carried them around for several days inside his shirt on his bare skin. Maybe the white one needs skin contact?

That's so sweet of him to do that! Not many would. The white one is actually doing really well. They all get cuddle time after feedings. It's the best part of the day!

Omh, so not clean, lol. Some of the dirtiest, smelly cats I've ever met. Not their fault, though. I just don't have the ability to clean and groom them the way their momma would.
