Quick handcuff from stairs

In this scenario, I approach a described suspect and ask him to step up for me. Upon doing so, he grabs into my left bicep area and is placed into a technique then handcuffed without the use of additional force. Timing is everything and can prevent injuries if we as police, know what we are doing.
The Copkido program was developed initially for hospital security officers as a non-violent option in dealing with aggressive or violent patients. Patients come to the hospital for care not additional injuries. I worked as a security officer in the hospitals back in 1992. That is how this program later became available and further developed for law enforcement and other first responders.
