The simplest way is to check out the programs you're interested in at your target universities and understand their admissions requirements. Then, use the timeline in this video to complete those requirements :)

I have a year gap in my bachelors example: my stipulated time is 2013-2017 but i took one more to complete one backlog, i completed in 2018. is this going to any effect on my admission at us universities.

The main difference is that there are many more colleges that offer Fall intake rather than Spring intake, so you'd have more options. Otherwise, it's about the same.

Bro can we get admission if University requires overall 6.0bands score. I got overall 6.0 but in two modules I got 5.5 (Listening & Reading). Some people saying that even overall is 6.0. you should get 6.0 in 3 modules. Please help me with this situation is that right. Do i have to take test again.?? I'm fed up with IELTS

There might be a few universities with deadlines in February and March for Fall 22, like San Jose State. If you don't like those unis, then yes Spring is your best bet.

Usually yes, but some unis (like UIUC) will open it up by July with a rolling deadline.

I meant rolling deadlines open up around July. So if you apply then, you'll have a stronger chance of acceptance for those colleges.

Funding for PhD is usually dependent on the funding offered to the prof's lab. If they have money, they'll give it to you, regardless of intake.

Hey sachin, I am 4th year computer science student, currently in 7th semester. I want to apply for masters in Data science in USA. I didn't know any process or procedure how things work till yesterday, I've watched many videos on your channel and I found out that if i want to take admission in fall 2022 I should've started preparation 4 months ago from now. Now, I cant stop thinking about the fact that I have to wait 1 year after graduation for fall 2023, so I decided to go for spring 2023 and take 6 month gap... I know disadvantages like I will lose co-op opportunity in summer break. I wanted to ask that, Is it worth taking 1 year gap and go for fall 2023 than go for spring and lose co-op opportunity, because I really dont want to waste time...And this concern is killing me. Your suggestion will give me closure to this concern.

@@gaurangsolanki2542 Yeah you can go in Spring if you want. I'm a Spring student too! You won't be able to intern in your first summer, but you can do it in your second summer. I have some cool stuff planned for my first summer so I'm going to stay productive for it :) Only downside is that not a lot of universities offer Spring admissions. If you want more options to choose from it's better to go for Fall 23 .

If you're taking the GRE in March 22, then you can try Spring 23. There might be a few unis still open for Fall 22 around March, but a good majority might have closed by then.

Not really. Just fewer universities that offer the intake so you have fewer options to choose from.
