A major failure on the part of the developers. The game is already third person, so first should be fine. Its one thing to add 3rd person to a first person shooter since that allows you to cheat corners and stuff, but for this game it should already be an option to switch views.

PC's binding is MIddle Mouse also there is binding on one of your mouse buttons to change the shoulder you look over.

@@Gtinferno1 I have mine on dynamic aim, press gives me first person ADS and hold gives me 3rd person. Unfortunate, but it's all we can do right now until a fix

Console pleb junk is why its like that. Its more gears of war. The devs cleary dont understand fps or pcmr

Ps5 is aim then click R3 it’ll do it and then go into settings and change it to global and it will remember it for all the guns

For some reason it won’t work. I’ve rebound it and still nothing. Even on controller on pc

I figured it out, you can't use it if your aim is 'press' but it will work when you changed it to 'hold'

@@gorrthegod It's not working for me as well, also for some reason the "PRESS" option appears greyed out to me and I can't change it.

Not sure why but doesnt work.

On ps5 you get randomly stuck on scope and you can’t get back to 3rd person … Annoying as hell

Need to be able to play in 1PV all the time and not just when aiming, I like the game but it's the only thing that's holding it back. 3PV is almost outdated now and most players wanna play in 1PV especially if u got use to playing some war games like COD or Battlefield, if they release an update to where u can play in 1PV then HD2 will explode and be up there with the best games but until then the 3PV will hold it back

There are good games, and there are third person games.

The exploding popularity of this game shows you where the industry has gone, its all the same game with a dew differences and the same boring time consuming upgrades, unistall refund going for a coffee

Facts man i didn't even bother buy it . Yet my subscribers wants me to switch from battlefield , battlefront and call of duty to this pile of trash lol Naw man im tryna save up for black ops gulf war and gta 6 Thats it . I already has next gen nba 2k24 and just about every game I enjoy playing if u ask me imma true cod fan that enjoy every game and other games out there but helldivers 2 is not my type of game. Im more of a modern time shooter gamer . Now if we talking about destiny and halo then hell to the yes I love those games but helldivers 2 just looks like another starfield which im Soo glad i didnt buy into the hype of these two games . Gta 6 and black ops gulf war is worth it in my opinion and the next battlefield as well .
