Quick fix to stop cheap china made LED string lights from blinking
I bought a set of cheap led lights from an online site and when I plugged them in, they looked nice but I hated how they kept blinking all of the time and there was no way to keep them from changing modes every time they are powered on. I found a fix on how to make these lights stay on all the time and only takes a soldering iron and glue gun. With this fix you do lose the multi function options but the lights won’t blink and drive you nuts. Here is a video on how to do that.

Thank you, they drive me crazy each day having to keep pressing for the right mode. 😃
Great video... Helped me a lot. Thanks.
Thanks! Now I don’t have to swear every time I flip my light switch on and those little buggers start blinking. My rage is gone. Thanks DavisTech!
OMG I just did this and worked !!! The lights are now not blinking !! Thanks for this amazing video !!!
PCR 406 are Thyristors, in fact is a Sensitive Gate Thyristor, not a Transistor. And the way to fix it, its just replacing the Thyristor's line that is not working. Simple as that, and it will blinks again!!
Exactly what I was looking to do. Thank you so much - it worked perfectly!
Wow, worked great! Thank you very much!

you can conect them straith to mains
I have the new type of pcb which do not have the big transistors, any idea how to do it?
I have several strings of lights just like this. They won't turn on. I tried doing what you showed in the video in hopes it would fix the problem. It didn't. Can you tell me how to repair a string like this that doesn't turn on at all? Thank you
Is it possible to bypass the board an connect it directly?
Isn't it cheaper to use one long LED strip with a simple driver than to use many of these flashing ones?
Thyristors , not transistors ! What a shitty soldering ...
The series I have doesn't have the transistors
I like the video. But I have no idea what you're talking about. How did you know bridging would stop the blicking? How did you know which wire to solder? I guess this is more of an intermediate or "advanced" tutorial.

Honestly, I had no clue. I just messed around on the board (carefully) until I found that the blinking circuit stopped.
I just remove the controller all together and reconnect the wires ,simple, same result ,but only on low voltage lights I would never buy those full voltage lights unless you want to electrocute yourself , too dangerous to use here in Australia our electricity runs on 240 volts and those wires are way too thin,
Hi ! Can you help me with this model ? That will be handsome ! :)
