Used a laptop, I sideloaded the apk from sidequest, downloaded the zip file, unzipped it, copied to the Quest 2 root, mergining with the existing android folder.

@@adenmcclure6209 it’s when it’s not pcvr, like for example, echo vr can be stand alone because it’s on quest, but it’s not if you have to have a pc to play it.

@@wtswlkr you know I am not new to this I've done developer mode before but then they sent out an email saying that everyone has to verify ever since then I've not been able to do it and there's been no KZread videos on it after that date you have to verify before you can set up an organisation you used to be able to just set up an organisation but because they hate modders they stopped it

Heres something than i noticed when i installed the launcher on the questcraft launcher when i went in setting and click java tweaks and lowerd the memory too 950MB or just put it up idk it actually didn’t crashed the game it actually just gave me more performance on the quest 2 and mostly recommended to low the resolution and go to sidequest and press GPU4 MAX this will help get more performance when playing it and go to experimental feature and turn on 120 fps on the oculus settings

I'm having trouble downloading any suggestions because I tried the 3rd and 4th method and couldn't get it to download it keeps saying ERROR "unauthorized error stream"

Uh I'm trying to do the quest 2 only method but how do you get the file manager?? Or can you just use the default one they give you when you get your headset??

For some reason within Pojav launcher the versions do not include 'fabric' like yours, only a bunch of other minecraft versions. I'm also experiencing an issue where I can't start the game from within the launcher, only stuck on the 3 loading dots. Any advice?

I can’t find the pcvr download when I try to download questcraft, u only see sideload, but at the top it of my side quest it says update but when ever I click it, it just take me to the website to download side quest, and I don’t know what to click after that.

Do I need java to be able to play quest craft because when I sign in through Microsoft I won't work

Nice tutorial bro, I really like the format of splitting it into different methods, but I have a bit of advice. When making a tutorial, it is pretty important that you don’t do so many cuts or cuts that skip a lot as some people need ti track some movements so that we don’t get lost but otherwise, nice vid

yo we already did try doing that with metod 3. But the fabric loaders dont show uo and when i checked out i noticed that the .cache File and .mimecraft file are completely missing. QUICK FIX FOR THE ARROW AT 1:22 NOT SHOWING!!! GUYS, IF THE ARROW AT 1:23 ISNT THERE DO NOT WORRY!!! All you have to do is click it, and when it says, "All tasks completed" OPEN YOUR QUEST (CAUSE ITS ALREADY INSTALLED)! Go to library, and at the top, next to Recent (which is next to the search) just like 1:48 , Go to unknown sources except you ignore what he said and all before but instead of saying "Pojav Launcher" it says "Quest craft" Now open that and sign in (Microsoft account works also) and then just do the same settings he says here: 1:54 and boom you should be good to go!

I tried the quest only. I did everything as shown in the video, but the fabric versons aren't there. I have looked through all the files and couldn't find a single one missing. So why can't I get the fabric versons? Update- I found my problem. i was either moving the folder the android folder was in, or renameing it to not have to write over the other folder with the same name. In the end, I renamed the original android folder to "Androd"

If you are downloading it from SideQuest then you will have to install the PCVR version.

It's not working... Bug jauger isn't finding my oculus

Hey so I tried installing with just the page on side quest but then it would just load infinitely so then I deleted it and installed it with the tutorial on their KZread but now it won’t show up in unknown sources

@@evangray155 idk if this is a fix, but I just did the sideload like it said and just skipped the part that wasn't there. I launched it and it seems to work just fine. You need to sign in with Microsoft everytime you launch it but I hope that helps

@@evangray155 I did multiple things to fix this same problem that I had because it was not working, but I think what I did wrong was that when there was an option to click "OK" or to click "Play anyway" and I clicked ok. Once I uninstalled from the headset and re-downloaded it, I hit play again. It worked fine this time.

Now that I think about it, I think they should also make a bedrock edition too, because if this thing has multiplayer cross play support, then that means for the quest owners that have friends that only have an Xbox available to them, then with questcraft: bedrock edition, they should be able to see and play together right? Or can it only be java edition because only PC are capable of seeing and playing with VR players?

Hello! I downloaded Sidequest under easy install and followed the three step instructions. Also, was able to download Sidequest on my VR Headset. On my headset it shows Questcraft "downloaded". However, a box pops up asking to update or cancel Questcraft. Every time I click "update" the bottom red bar loads at 100% and I get the same message again. I have clicked multiples times "update" and also clicked on "cancel" just to see what happens. When I click on "cancel" I get a download failed message in red at the bottom of the screen. I can't bypass the message Questcraft Update or Cancel message.

so why do we click fabric? is that an old version of mc, also I don't have a drop down menu to download on sidequest just the game

Everything works for ne up until I need to pick the game version and it only goes down to 1.0

Try changing the file manager you used for transferring the Android folder. The file manager I used merged both Android folders.

I followed all of the steps, but when I launch the game, I only get music, but I’m stuck with the three loading dots. There is also no “Fabric” option when I go to select the version, only the list of versions.

Hey Mysticle, I have a question about starting up questcraft. I downloaded everything necessary on my quest and all of the files are in place, but when I select the game version fabric versions are nowhere to be found. I check my internal storage and all of the fabric files are there as needed but it still won't show up, how can I fix this? Update: I fixed it, apparently when I moved the android folder to my quest storage the versions folder and the .fabric folder didn't move in there with everything.

@@donovanator For me the easiest thing to do was to sideload Amaze using sidequest (file manager). Once I did that I uploaded the files for Questcraft to my google drive and then downloaded them on the quest's browser. Run amaze on the quest 2 and copy the Android folder from the downloads section to the internal storage. Hope this helps and makes sense. I don't have an android phone but could run a usbc cable from my quest 2 to my macbook

Using either Bugjaeger (Mobile) or SideQuest (PC) along side with the file manager APK they want to sideload.

I've gotten everything working, only issue is I'm not seeing any version of fabric. Only the regular snapshots and updates.

@destroyer1951 ARCHIVE it is supposed to either Merge & Replace or just Merge the files. If it just replaces the files without merging then it will affect other games.

Everything works fine till the point I try to make a new world then it crashes, then when I try to load it again and press play anyway it crashes all the time, any fix for this ?.

Do you have to have Java cuz I signed into my Xbox account which I had Minecraft on and it said I didn’t own the game

@@Gxpp the black screen with 3 dots is normal as long as it doesn't take longer than 1-3 minutes. If it does take longer than that make sure you click on Select Account when you open the Pojav app.

Try using a different file manager when transferring the Android folder. It should say merge existing files. If that doesn't work try using the zip file provided by either SideQuest or GitHub.

mine just says "Can't find any compatible Java runtime" and won't let me play. I can also only see one option for fabric. Is there any way I can fix this?

I tried it, and it's kinda neat. But it didn't take long to just toss it. You have to have the view distance to it's smallest setting to get good frame rates, and instead of swinging your pickaxe to mine something, you just point and click. Not fun at all in VR

well it is fun just not for you everyone has there own opinion and with the framerates maybe its bc the headset you use and your network/connection

Does it take really long to load because for me when i load it its just a black screen with the 3 loading dots but it still plays the music in minecraft

I’m having 2 problems. The first one is that whenever I try to start it, it just puts me on an infinite loading screen every time. The second problem is that I don’t have a fabric loader option. Any tips?

Tried using bugjager since I don't have a pc, but whenever I plug in my headset bugjager doesn't connect to my quest, I have debugging turned on in my developer options but it still doesn't connect

I have two questions first I have Minecraft mobile and it bedrock so do I make a nother accept and second what file manager did you use cuz I just whant to make sure

For everyone thats having a problem finding fabric load option just re download it or make sure u extracted the file(android) doing it on the quest is easy but i also need to know how to get mods/shaders on the quest file manger any tips anyone
