Curriculum mapping is another one of those tasks that you will find a system that works for you. Keeping it simple and useable is the key.

If you don’t have the assessments to look at I would either skip it or look at the objectives or benchmark skills for the unit and put that in the curriculum mapping. Lots of times you will see the same benchmark learning objectives over and over and over. That’s how you’ll know it will be assessed at some point. Hope that helps. If I am not understanding your question- let me know.

They are pretty cool. I like having the choice of different colors and I always make mistakes so the eraser comes in handy. 🙂

Go down to the “mentioned resources” and you will see a link for each. Just click, fill out the form, hit submit and in a few minutes you will get an email for each resource with a download button. So glad you are using these resources. The calendar has a pop of color at the top but I will add some more color to next years calendar. Thanks for the idea. One way to customize it to your own color preference is to decorate with markers and washi tape.

What about the teacher binder I tried to get it to print in color I will be a first year kindergarten teacher your videos has helped me tremendously can you do a video on activities for the first week of school also I need help coming up with a classroom theme thank you so much for all the videos

The Teacher Binder Starter Kit is in color so I wonder if it's something with your printer settings? I wonder what's going on? (Some things that have happened to me in the past when things don't print right are 1) make sure the color ink hasn't run out 2)print settings where set to print in black and white 3) my adobe acrobat was out of date. ) Maybe those will help you to print in color. And Yes, I'm going to do a video on my exact lesson plans for the first few days of school. That will be coming out in July sometime. If you have any specific questions let me know and I can talk to each specific question.
