IF THIS DOES NOT WORK: My bumper had an issue where it would only click if I pressed hard I cut out a small piece from the sticky part of a sticky note and attached it to the plastic part in the bumper. It adds a tiny bit of height so that gentle clicks still apply full force. Hope this helps!

i had the same problem i just put wd-40 in it and gave it a few clicked until it tried and it was working fine if it ever comes to it i hope it helps cause 130 to 160 dollar controller just for it to do that is crazy

And this helps for 1day or 1 week and then it starts double clicking again... tip: don't buy the elite series 2 again.. big trash controller, i had atleast 5. Best pro controller for me is the scuf instinct pro, never had problems

I just use the back Paddle as bumpers I thought I wouldn't like it but honestly I prefer it now.

instead of iso use bw100, a better solution since its a contact cleaner that wont eat your plastic like alcohol. Non conductive like alcohol

Ngl this works I was about to have a heart attack when my rb stoped working but this helped a lot money saved 😅😅

First try inserting a piece of cardboard in the bumper and sliding it around and then blow in the sides of the bumper with a straw before taking it apart

Is there anything i can do to get stripped screws out of the paddle mother boards? Ofc the tiniest screws that get messed up.

Question: what can I do to fix the bottom hinge button on the series 2 controller. The removable bottom buttons. The small hinge buttons won't click the button anymore. And suggestion would ve greatly appreciated

What can I use if I don’t have one of those tools? Not every person has those things just lying around

Your tactile switches don’t have much life left, you need new switches and they cost like 45 cents a piece if you have any experience soldering it’s the correct option

How long does this last?

The lb and all the pádels doesn’t work on the left side but like if I press down on the Fran the padels work but when I let go they dotk work again and the lb is just completely gone

Do you know how to do this for a normal series x controller?

The use of IPA is identical, though to open it you need to pull off the grips, unscrew 4 screws and 1 under the sticker below the battery to open it.

You have to replace that L OR R stick mechanisms but make sure to do research and have proper tools to do the change the stick mechanism replacement shouldn’t cost too much

I can’t get mine to open if anything my rb button got stuck inside tryna open it I give up

Never open that controller ! One year ago I open it and since that happen the controller fells apart more and more 😢 you can even see in this video that the case(front plate) is broken 😅

For stick drift a similar trick will work, although on the elite 2 you have to unscrew the stick caps fully to access the joystick underneath, and even then, with drift it's much more likely to be an unfixable issue without going for a full replacement of the joystick, which in itself requires soldering and a fair bit of skill.
