It was delicious, I added a little shredded cheddar to it. It tasted a lot like the Jiffy corn casserole, I wish I could remember where I picked it up at.

We're in North Alabama and we were iced in for 4+ days! I was able to get a grocery run in before it fell, but by Day 6-7 the bead, milk, and eggs were nearly gone. Glad I try to keep several frozen casseroles and veggies on hand!

I got mine at a Metropolitan Market in the kitchen area. It takes 3-4 C-cell batteries. They last a long time. Mine comes on automatically when it gets dark in the kitchen. It's lovely to use when you have company and have a buffet spread out on your counter tops. @@connieyoung7025

Hey Mel, the Chicken Monterey looks like one we have here in a diner restaurant, but they saute Onions, Peppers & Mushrooms on top - its my favorite too. I was just thinking I need a Tuna Patty Recipe bc I love Trader Joes low salt Tuna so much. Ur dip looks absolutely scrumptious too. This was an excellent episode bc its just me eating mostly & I love smaller size recipes! Btw, what is "snow cream?" I never heard that expression, is it kinda a snow angel where u lay on the snow, move ur arms up & down to make angel wings? Thank u again for giving us such wonderful recipes! They said they weren't part of his accident, which they are and are responsible for them till he dies. We're both dealing with sinus crud at the moment. I have a sinus infection. Yes, we do. Helloooo mommamel..... I made chili few wks ago n took leftover nxt nite n for the very 1st time made a chili bake with krustez honey cornbrd over top n put it in oven. WOW 😱....it was so yummy...I was amazed! I keep seeing all the channels making cornbread n putting off top of chili so I had to finally hop on wagon n see what I was missin! 😜🙈🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

It's a cake with alot of thin layers, like about 10 layers and it has apples filling between every layer. So delicious 😋 I think it's kinda an old timey thing, and it takes a lot of time so I will stick to the Graham crackers 🤣 Let them get really soft in the fridge and it tastes exactly like one.

Thanks so much for your kind words. And I got it Christmas before last at the Dollar Tree, it was in the $5 section. I did see them there this past Christmas, too. It's battery operated, just for decor (no heat LOL) and it's not a wax warmer - a lot of folks were thinking it might be and that would have been so cute! I've seen them on Amazon for $20 but I would not pay that for it and it had lots of returns on it too. $5 yes anymore$ no LOL

Mama I seen a lady put bacon in a bag then put flour in it get all the bacon covered then lay it out on your cookie pan and bake it, they said it will lay flat and taste just as good as frying it they did turn it after baking for 10 min have you ever tried it this way?

Well...we were in single digits with below zero wind chills. 🥶 bitter cold to us, I'd never make it thru a winter up north 🤣

record high tempeature 0f 50 F in minnesota. no snow or ice. used to have below zero f and two feet of snow. climate change is real my freind.

Why would you take out the bones and skin from salmon?

It's just a "me" thing - you don't have to but for me I just don't want them in my salmon patties.

Canned salmon...break those bones and skin up....or u r minus the calcium!

You just reminded me…. I need to make some nice bbq tuna on a bun!!!! 😊
