Quick and Easy CNC Projects / Free Shapeoko Downloads

Today we'll be making some free and easy CNC Projects for my Shapeoko CNC router. We'll be using Plywood, White Wood, and wormy maple to make these CNC projects.
We'll be using Carbide Create from carbide3d for making these CNC router projects.
These projects were done on my Shapeoko 3 XL, but should work fine on the Shapeoko 3 XXL or regular Shapeoko 3.

love the vid. not being critical but asking your opinion. 1 would staining speaker parts before assembly be easier 2 if you put ca glue on one half and activator on the other offer a more complete bond.

1.) If you're using water based stains, you could do that. Oil based stains will keep the oil from adhering. 2.) Yes, you could do that, do you'd need to work REALLY fast. Placing CA glue on one side and activator on the other gives you an almost instant bond. Thanks for watching!

I've never used a 3018 before, but I'd try the plywood project first. You should be able to do the phone speaker, assuming you can cut 3/4" deep on your machine. Thanks for watching!

The phone stands, Yes. The speaker, No. The wobble boards you'd need a large and powerful laser machine for .... probably 100watts. Thanks for watching.

You can export an SVG from Carbine Create or I believe you can import Carbine Create's gcode into Easel.

Ha. Your missing the point. It takes all the machines in the work shop to make cnc items. It's just one more tool. It will bring your work up a notch or two with the engraving options,

The same thing was said by hand saw guy to the circular saw and band saw guy…. Or the guy with an axe to the guy with the chain saw… Granted, not all tools are for everyone. Hope you find the tools that fit your needs and the videos you need to learn to use those tools.
