Found this song a year after my wife and I lost our son at 9 months via still birth. I never looked at the title of the song until now, I just heard the beat and keys and it was instantly therapeutic. I wonder who was Isaac? Anyway RIP to James Edward Runnels V aka: Lil Seis, you would have been three years old today. See on the other side son.

+cloud y +saucy05 Yeah in interviews he basically admitted Dilla was the reason he branched out. He said once he found his sound Dilla was like 'alright now do something different, experiment, etc etc.' that Dilla taught him to progress basically and not just be that drummer that had that one sound. Not saying he wouldn't have become a legend or trying to down talk ?uest at all because that dude definitely holds a special place in my hip-hop heart compartment. Just adding on to your post about Dilla being an inspiration to ?uest

I was in AC some years back at an Erykah Badu concert and Questlove sat right behind us. I told my wife who he was and she was like "that ain't him" so I said "What's up Ahmir?" and he got up and gave me some dap. He was real low key, nobody realized it was him.

Wrong. This is live drumming. And even if it was sampled drums, that doesn't make the original comment not true.

The right hand melody is very close to a vocal interpretation -- even mimics it in my view --- I can imagine the songwriter heard this as the vocal melody; probably felt like actuals words would hide the beauty and I would agree.

Drumming is the backbone of most music so it's only natural for a talented drummer to in fact produce tracks. John Bonham ( Led Zep ) Phil Collins even Prince & Lenny Kravitz play drums . I'm not shaming ya . . . Just sayin . ; )

I had this song pop up one night, a few weeks ago. It brought tears to my eyes. You know why ? I was waiting to die from cancer, and this one night, i thought it was going to happen finally. I was thinking about my mother, who died from cancer herself, and I did not find out for a few years. ....I was healed that night, completely. When it was happening was when this song popped up. Life is good friends, so beautiful. I hope it is the same for you.
