Supposedly if you put some weather striping where it contacts the window it helps a lot.

Thanks for that answer. I would hope that it isn't too disturbing. For the price they are asking for the unit I would think they would do a better job sealing it to the window. I don't think I would like that much light in the cabin. At least it doesn't light up the bugs on the windshield like a christmas tree. I would have imagined that would be the case and I'm very happy to see that isn't. I really do love the way the lights look from the outside and love that you can't see them until they are on. I do wish that they had some emergency flashing features though, that would be extremely helpful in the case of an emergency on the road... Great video, Pat
