Even though he was a bit old for the role, and despite the rather broad approach that this film takes, it's Dean's charisma that makes it work just as much as Sharon's presence. They made a terrific duo.

I had the same experience as Quentin when I was a kid over Sharon, but for her role as Janet Trego on the Beverly Hillbillies watching it in the 70's. I remember thinking she was so funny and pretty, and looked for her credit at the end to find out her name. A whole lifetime passed before I made the connection of who she was and what happened in January 2022. Broke my heart.

Even it wasn't for Sharon Tate being in The Wrecking Crew, the film itself would never be discussed.

The Hammerhead movie was a dog with fleas and Vince Edwards, the presumed 'star', was less animated than a Roman statue.

It be nice for Sony to release this on Blu Ray especially after ONITH it would've picked up much curiosity by film fans, or Criterion.

I really liked this film. I think Sharon was great in it her comic timing was great in this movie. She for sure showed potential in this film. There were some really funny moments.

Matt helm movies were maybe not great films but they were all a lot of fun! The Wrecking Crew has great spy music, action by Bruce Lee and a great funny performance from Sharon Tate. Heard they are reintroducing the series with Bradley Cooper as Matt Helm in a more serious take on the character which would be fantastic!

Wrecking Crew's plot makes zero sense. A shipment of American gold is in a very Southern Californiaesque Denmark on its way to Britain only to be hijacked by an Italian count who has secretly planted cameras seemingly everywhere, assisted by a buxon German mistress (for whom he dumped a Spanish gypsy) and a Chinese henchwoman. Whut?!? LOL!

If your focused on the plot youve missed the point. The plot is irrelevant its just the fun action scenes and great comic moments with Sharon and Deano that you watch it for.

The movie was stinker. Lots of the pretty girls and a star on his second bottle of scotch by the time he steps in front of a camera, does not a good movie make. Maybe for kids, overgrown kids, but not for sensible adults. Most of these glossy "James Bond spoofs" were just a waste of time and talent.

Wow, for Tarantino to say something is too ridiculous to take seriously, then that must be a level of crazy I've never seen.

Finally saw The Wrecking Crew yesterday. It. Is. Awful. And Sharon Tate, God rest her soul, is terrible. A shockingly unprofessional performance. Love you, Quentin, but what are you and this interviewer smoking?

And yet you get fans saying how brilliant she was. She was a very pretty girl but she was also a very average talent.

I don't know why, but people who know Jack about movies think they can appreciate nascent acting talent, which 9 times out of 10 isn't there. If it wasn't for her macabre ending Sharon Tate would have had the kind of fleeting career an actress relying on her beauty usually has. Ie a few eye catching roles, followed by lower quality parts and then surpassed on screen by a fresh new starlet. To imagine that she would go on to be the next Jeanne Moreau, Jane Fonda or Liv Ullmann is fanciful.
