This is the first group I've ever listened to that sounds better 30 years later. I don't remember Leelee and taj's vocals being this strong. It's almost like they matured and took their voices more serious. The confidence that Leelee and taj exude now is amazing. That high note taj...beast💯😁 Leelee sounds better than ever most definitely more confident when she's singing than in the past. And Coko... timeless voice with an unbelievable ear. True flair for music. So happy they're enjoying success all over again 3 decades later. The mark of a truly talented, dedicated group ❤️❤️❤️

It's not only that she can hit that note in IOYK, it's the clarity, piercing quality and how she can run and sustain it too. That's a super difficult forward mixed voice. Rare ability and talent. Coko got that Disney princess purity to her tone especially in the vowel sounds. Add to this the heavenly sweet blend of Coko, Taj and Lelee's harmonies and we got one of the best girl groups of all time.

I love both Coko and Keke. Keke is agility and softer tones. Although she is a belter. Coko is full belt. She can sing up there through an entire song. That's not within Keke ability. Coko is one of the strongest sopranos I've ever heard other than LaShaun Pace Rhodes. With that being said, the both can kill this song like NO OTHER!

1:00 Lee Lee sounds just like Coko, you could barely tell someone else was switched to sing this part. Without video, you'd think it was still Coko. I remember they said back in the day they sounded alike.

The different voice types doesn't necessarily mean much, it's not like Coko started the song off belting Soprano notes, she sang the beginning of the song in her middle register. They definitely sound similar. Coko, like most real vocalists, can adapt their range and voice to different moods, registers, and voice types, like at 2:16 . She doesn't necessarily sound like a Soprano, she sounds mezzo-esque. Her voice is thicker here. Why? Because she adapted her voice to how she wanted to sing and what she wanted to convey. Real singers know voice types aren't the end all be all. ​@@yerocal30 Also, Alto is not a voice type, it's a placement in a choir/choral section. I think you mean Mezzo (Soprano).

They were a 4 girl group at first, and lelee and coko were the lead vocalist. However the label favored coko and made the lead. But lelee has always been heavily in the background vocals
