How anyone can hate a voice that sounds so much like Freddie astounds me. I get hating Lambert's broadway voice though, which is being pawned off as rock when it is actually anti-rock sounding. Blech. Marc Martel for me thanks!!! 😊

@@TheaterPup In case there's some confusion. Marc's voice we love... Adam's not so much for Queen music thanks. Just a preference, and yah, we actually do get to a fair amount of Broadway musicals. Adam would so suit that type of singing so much better. To each their own opinion though. 🙂 Happy Friday!

He crosses over wayyyy too much though. That's the problem. Adam takes it to whole other level of pink boas and platform footwear. It's like that's the entire focus of the show now. Yawn. All flash in a pan Adam, with no real meat. Freddie delivered rich low rock notes, and could equally climb high to punctuate parts of the song. Adam stays way too high throughout each song, cannot go low at all and comes across as having no variance of range whatsoever. I wish he'd cross over the stage and out the side exit. Way overdue for another guest singer. Sorry.

Marc Martel is _scary_ good. He's an incredibly gifted vocalist -- and a damn fine musician, too.

I think that's literally why they don't want him, they dont want someone trying to imitate him. But they also made him the singer of the queen extravaganza and they think he sounds amazing. So it's not like they've never heard of him lol.

Adam is special because he does not imitate anyone, He has his own style, inhuman voice control and incredible range. He does not need to resemble anyone to be successful.

It's understandable that they have Lambert over Martel. It would be a real pain to tour with someone who sounds almost exactly like your dead best friend. Constant memories would flood you.

He's as close to hearing and seeing Freddie as we are gonna get!

they way he speaks the words and sings.. THIS is the way how to sing these songs. This is his own style but he sings the songs correctly without too much vibrator-drama.. like the "+".

Martel has no passion for Freddie. The only passion he has is making money off of imitating his voice. And he can’t reach Adam’s boots when it comes to vocals. Adam blows him out of the water….easily.

Marc also likes this audience - look at his smiling face; "they give him wings". Bravo Kyiv, the best audience at concerts in Europe 2019! Bravo Marc♥

I am so sad that i didn't come there. I think it is the greatest Queen show in Ukraine ever. I knew about it only 1 week after Marc had perfomed. I hope one day I will be able to visit his concert. And one day Roger and Brian will come to Ukraine too. Thank you Marc for visiting our country.

I'd go to Kiev just to see this concert!!! Great crowd and great band. Not like when I saw Queen in Vegas back in 2014. That's when I recognized that they were another cover band. Adam didn't sound like Queen. It was like going to hear the Beach Boys only to have somebody else sing their songs. I'd take Freddie and Marc any day over Adam. When I hear Marc I think of Freddie and his story. If Marc actually sang with Queen, they'd have to share the spotlight again, maybe even take a step back.

I wish Queen would do atleast one concert with Marc.

Even ignoring the fact that he sounds a lot like freddie, the way he sings, he is trying to show off the music, where I find that adam often sounds like he is trying to show off his vocal skills. They both are great singer in there own right, but I feel like adams style isn't nearly as Queen as Marc's is.

Darren Goldsmith i went to a show in August. Adam Lambert does a very good job. Though he doesn’t sound like Freddie like Marc. He is a very good entertainer like Freddie was. I had a great time and would recommend going to a show if you had the opportunity.
