one of the things i missed about old school hip hop, the east coast had that old school jazzy flavor in their beats and the west coast had the funk in theirs, the instrumentals were truly art

All these years I never knew Kay Gee produced this, but hearing it now, those drums do sound very “19-Naughty-3”.
