I was there when she laid the foundation stone for Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Khormaksar, Aden, I was 12 years.

@@abdullahalialiali yes shame it has been neglected, after independence UK wanted name to stay as QE Hospital and they will support with doctors and maintenance, but our great leaders of that time refused.

Queen statue exists in Aden in Queen Victoria Park was the era filled with construction and reconstruction

I am honored, delighted and humbled by her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II visit to my beloved city Aden. I wish I would have been born at that time! Sincerely, I hope to see her Majesty revisit Aden again. Her Majesty would be more than welcome in Aden, when peace is restored in that part of the world.

I lived in Aden as a young child. I miss so any people most of whom names I forget now.. but rememeber a lovely man, no doubt passed away now, named Hassan who was so very kind to me always. he owned a shop near our apartment in Mallah.

For those who don't know.. colony of Aden along with its western and Eastern protectorates were horribly handed in 67 by her majesty government to the wrong people who executed all monarch rulers and established a disastrous communism regime which ended in 1990 by making unplanned decision of uniting with Yemen. Later in 1994 communists tried to break up with Yemen but was too late and they lost the 60 days war.

The war against the Sana’a regime will continue (and there is no such thing as Yemen)

Worst thing that happened to Aden “South Arabia” was going into a unity with Sana’a “ Yemen “ .These are two different countries with two different people.Sanna then attacked Aden and unified it by force in 1994 after 3 months war and turned Aden into a very poor country and tried to Yemenise the people of South Arabia.What is happening in the so called Yemen now is a war between Aden and Sana’a.Aden will regain its independence soon after 30 years of Sana’a occupation.

Your wrong the worst thing that happened to Aden South Yemen was communism . actually the war now is between southern groups Sanaa has closed its boarder near Taiz and near Mareb. The president Hadi is southern and the whole so called legitimate government is southern individuals fighting southern separatists

@@romankristos9686 for your info if Hadi is a southerner that doesent mean he is with South.Hadi fled Aden to Sanaa in 1986 and since then he has been the number one enemy for South. You need to understand that Hadi was elected by the Northerners during a vote and southerners didn’t allow any vote to take place in South( No southerner voted for him ).Afterwards the Northerners elite made him their puppet president , they decided to kill him and he fled away.We all know that the Northern elite will never let a Southerner be Yemens president.The Zidis are the rulers of Yemen North. Another point is Hadi is a puppet under the real rulers like Ali Mohsen and the al Ahmar family , the islah party and the rest of the Yemens Northern parties that were kicked out of North by the Houthis. Now those Northern elite that were kicked out of Sana’a want to settle in Aden and rule Aden which will never happen.They need to go fight for their country which is North Yemen and not South Arabia. One last thing is all the people of South Arabia are fighting to regain their country back from North Yemen.Southerners have tasted what it’s like to live with North and they’d rather die than live with Northerns. Please for the sake of your bedrooms that are under houthis in Sana’a go fight for them.

@@Al-cb4hf it’s weird because the STC only gained 10% of the so called South Yemen only Aden is under their control and remember millions of Yemenis from all over Yemen have no say in politics you people need to remember Yemenis have been oppressed by these rulers in the south and north it’s not about whose side you with it’s all about humanity are suffering in the south and north and politicians steal money and live like kings in UAE and Saudi Arabia while normal poor Yemenis starving endure war. Remember division will only grow like communist Aden was divided assassinating every southern president

If you are a Yemeni from north then I understand your background.If you are not a Yemeni then you need to do your homework. My grandfather left Hadhramout with a Hadhrami passport and not with a Yemeni passport. We in south decided to join to be a country called south Arabia and we can’t get the crazy north with us

@@nerdinside21 aden was first destroyed by 1948 dahbashis who were given South Yemen citizenship.These dahbashis are the ones who got south Arabia to become socialist and brought Russians into aden.They are the ones who changed the country’s name to South Yemen and the people were not Yemenis.They are the ones who tricked the natives to accept unity with Yemen Sana’a.What is happening now in the so called Yemen is because of Sana’as occupation of Aden and turning aden into garbage because Sana’a is a garbage.

It was called South arabia not Yemen before the communists
