Claire Foy WAS The Queen in The Crown & she absolutely nailed the role! Such splendid acting & so convincing, that you almost feel as if you’re watching a fascinating slice of history involving the REAL characters! Utterly superb!

Indeed, always impressed, i don't really appreciate the new ways of the crown, from a serious, mysterious tone to something unrecognizeable, i somewhat still wished they had just aged Claire Foy with Make-up and such, but well Olivia Coleman and Dolores Umbridge feel so very different than her, Olivia Coleman did great but i feel her way too sweet, even when trying to seem angered.

Marvelously executed acting...the nervousness is palpable in her...and her smile at the end shows how relieved she feels... Kudos to Clair Foy!🥹🔥

After that scene, she quickly put her worst serious face. In the episode they made clear the Queen absolutely hated the moment, and her mother looks at her with pity.

Just imagine . . . to go from this to jumping out of a helicopter with James Bond.
