I would love you to do a video about Queen Anne of the UK. I recently watched a programme on BBC2 about Queen Anne and how she is falsely depicted in history and seen as a joke when actually she was a very strong and powerful leader and had a very intelligent and practical mind. it was a programme by one of my fave historians Dr Lucy Worsley. @Mike signs I dont think so. I'm pretty sure reign is historical FICTION which means half of it's made up. Of course the director in the series or movie will have their own bias but reign isnt historically accurate whatsoever. Some parts of Mary Queen of Scots 2018 are based on opinion and I'll admit reign does cover the main parts like Francis dying and her marrying Lord Darnley but that's about it. I'm not telling you to stop watching this I'm just saying be careful what you believe because the show reign is based for entertainment. Mary Queen of Scots 2018 is to but it's more for history. I dont want to start an argument.

Anne was a very witty and intelligent woman, and Elizabeth has those same traits. If Anne was given the chance, I believe she would’ve been an amazing ruler and a kick ass queen. Perhaps, she would’ve even been more powerful than the king himself. 👀

But I do think she was aware of pregnancy, and the ramifications of even if she was just “fooling around” without risk of that, of even a whiff getting out. She was always, always, very careful of her reputation. I don’t believe she would have risked it. No way. Now, that being said, when she was younger, way before being queen, or even that she may have a real possibility of it, I personally think her and Robert Dudley MAY have done something. Maybe just once, she slipped up, and the terror of worrying about the ramifications for the next month or two.....they WERE in love🤷‍♀️. But that’s just pure conjecture on my part.

Compared to other portrayal of Elizabeth by other actors such as Margot Robbie and Judi Dench, Cate Blancett's potrayal of Elizabeth is one of the most accurate though we would never know how she really looked like when she got old as most potraits of her when she's older are mostly enhanced to make look younger and youthful to maintain her image as a Virgin Queen.

I'm sure it was Catherine Howard's and Lady Jane Grey's beheadings off marriage, who were also 'pawns' that terrified her. Im happy for these videos but theres SO much info about The Tudors, I wish we could hear more about the Queen Nzinga, Wu Zetian, Jadrega of Polands of the World, the more obscure Queend.....but I bet what videos are made based on what historical information is out there. Still, LOVE these vids they are my ASMRs. What about Margaret of Anjou, Queen Militant and wife of "The Sleeping King" or Catherine of Valois, Elizabeth's great...great (?) grandmother ?

This was a fair video to Mary I, thank you. I will be interested to see how you tackle Elizabeth's increased intolerance of Catholics, they didn't enjoy 'light' punishments for long, hence why there's quite a few English saints who died during Elizabeth's reign such at Margaret Clitharoe.

@@snayperkill6218 That was when the pope issued a papal bull of excommunication encouraging all catholics to rise up against Elizabeth to disposed or even assasinate her. This was also the time when Mary Staurt fled from Scotland to England which onely gave a focal point for all Catholics to rise up agiant Elizabeth, and Catholic plots were only being hatched and uncovered left right and centre. The situation of the time forced Elizabeth to crack down harder on Catholicism than she really wanted to.
