However, the King always decide himself who is doing those tasks which the CoSs can perform (2 together) in his absence. So, currently there are 2 extra CoSs on the list, so that there never should be need to give Harry&Andrew the perform those tasks.

Nobody has been 'cut off' by King Charles. Prince Andrew was told to stand down as a working Royal and Harry chose to walk away. Lady Sarah Chatto is the daughter of the late Princess Margaret - sister and 'spare' to the late Queen Elizabeth II - and, along with her brother, has never been a working Royal. The same applies to Princess Anne's daughter Zara (and her brother Peter), and Beatrice and Eugenie the daughters of Prince Andrew - whi is himself brother and 'spare' of King Charles. All have led independent lives and forged their own careers and are only in attendance at family functions. King Constantine was a blood relative of the late Prince Philip so this was like a family attending a Thanksgiving Service for a relative.

So nice to see the Duchess of York there ❤

Nice to see so many of the royals in attendance, and especially Princess Alexandra, who hasn't been seen in public for months. I know the seating plan was largely determined by precedence and the line of succession, but I would have made one change to it. I would have put the Duke of Kent in the front row, and moved the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester to the second row. Reason for this is that the Duke of Kent and his siblings have a closer connection to the Greek royals, with their mother being a Princess of Greece and Denmark. The Duke of Gloucester, while ahead of the Duke of Kent in the line of succession, actually has no blood ties to the Greek royals other than the fact he is descended from Queen Alexandra, who was the sister of the Danish prince who was offered the Greek throne back in 1863. They already made one change by placing Princess Alexandra in the front row due to her wheelchair, so surely they could have made another exception too.

I was using the ones from the Court Jeweller site. as they have the seating positions of the foreign royals on the other side of the aisle as well. The Daily Mail has a good shot of them too, but only show the British royals.

A very dignified Service for the life of the late King of the Hellenes, Constantine II. Wonderful to see so many members of the British Royal Family attending along the members of the Greek Royal Family. But they were of course not the only "blue-blooded" persons at the Service. Representatives from other Royal Families around Europe (and Jordan too) also attended. No one cares if you care. The fact that you made the effort to look up a fan channel and then comment says different. If you're planning on telling us that you're unsubscribing from the channel next, don't bother.. also not necessary.

I think the pow is having exhaustion and is getting overwhelmed. And William is being the loving husband that he is and is supporting her. And he’s exhausted too I’m sure. She may be having melancholy also. That’s what I believe is going on.

Why? This wasn't a formal Royal State Occasion. It was a family remembering the life of a loved distant relative. Fergie would have met King Constantine more than once and wanted to show her respects also. Prince William will be deeply saddened to have missed the Service as Constantine was his Godfather.

Are you sure you want to go that route guppy? You are obviously defending Virginia. Which makes you as bad as her. Andrew is guilty of being a typical man getting his rocks off with a paid worker who was servicing everyone. Virginia on the other hand was recruiting and trafficking 12 year old girls and that is a fact. She then abandoned them when she ran off to Australia at age 17 and got married. She lived off the money of people she tried to blackmail for years and once she learned that the girls whom she had trafficked were going to file a civil suit against her she chose the Queen's jubilee year to go after Andrew because he's not the sharpest tool in the box and she was advised to strike when it was hot and they wouldn't want the publicity. Virginia will be handing over whatever money she did received to those women that she personally traumatized at age 12. I can go back and forth with you all day but you should be advised that I am a lawyer and you will not win.

It was indeed nice to see so many members of the British Royal Family attending. Sadly Prince Andrew's pushy, self important behaviour was appalling. Totally inappropriate. His sister should have been the lead.

Can someone explain to why they’re doing this commemoration for exiled King Constantine II? If anything, it should be the Spanish Royals doing this since Queen Sofia is the King’s sister.

Because the late Queen's husband Prince Philip was born heir to the throne of Greece; but the then Royal Family of Greece were exiled when Philip was a baby. On his marriage to Queen Elizabeth he had to give up all rights to any other Country's throne so when the Monarchy was restored in Greece the title of King went to Philip's blood relative Constantine. This Service is therefore a family Memorial/Thanksgiving to a much loved relative.

​@jillosler9353 That Is incorrect. Prince Philip was never an heir to the throne. You start with George I. His heir was Constantine I. Constantine produced George II, Alexander I, and Paul. ​ George II passed away from arteriosclerosis, Alexander I was bit by a monkey and died from sepsis which left Paul. Paul had Constantine II the man that this Thanksgiving service was for. Constantine II had three male heirs. All coming before Prince Phllip. There are one or two others that are in there that aren't pertinent to the line though. Your little story almost suggests that you are saying Philip would have been in line to the throne had he not given up any rights but that's not correct. It went to the next in line which was Constantine II. There wasn't even the slightest chance that Phillip would have become King of Greece.

I keep saying this that prince Andrew is the head of the family. We all have that family member that basically keeps up with all the family stuff and he is that family member. So glad to see Fergie with him. I am awaiting the news when they are getting remarried
