Yes the power he gave in that ''LOVE'' both very clean and building on it self. it's one of the two best songs of that show. Together with Love of My Life. Where he more or less has a duet with the audience.

Wow....that is amazing...some of the interest would be as a result of that movie bringing in a new bunch of fans...but for a band whos height in popularity was 40 years ago thats still amazing.

He wouldn’t ever criticize them, I guess. He was a Virgin as zodiac sign so to him every work he did it was a masterpiece and if somebody would ever ask him if he could have done it in a different way...he would answer something like that “no way, that moment it sounded perfect to me, because if you still listen to it, you won’t find something imprecise besides dear you can’t even imagine it played in a different way from this. So think about it...why should I find now something wrong or worse that could make me think about changing that?!” Probably he would tell us how did he write the songs ...about harmonization and other very technical stuff, it would surely be interesting hearing about that but he would probably be disappointed for discussing them

This is actually my fav Queen song...I think it is such a moving and powerful one. Love this gospel choir !
The lyrics are so personal to so many people including Fred himself it results in an everlasting connection with the listener because its so spiritual, so personal, so true it hurts.
30 years later Freddie Mercury's music still lives RIP Freddie

The greatest cover of any Queen song was Annie Lenox doing Freddie’s part in Under Pressure. That version was better than the Queen version.

Somebody to Love, a... ✨Masterpiece✨ It gives me tenderness, when they put George Michael in 1992, his version in the Freddie tribute, since there is an exact moment where George says: somebody to .... love .... and they are seen on the faces of Brian and Roger, a nostalgia, for remembering Freddie with that song, simply George, he did a great job that April 12, 1992 ...🥺❤️✨ The best, queen forever...!! 🥺🥺❤️✨

The gospel inspired music for Somebody To Love has a looser feel, open to more improvisation during performances and the lyrics express a feeling that everyone feels at sometime in their life...it's universal...emotional.
