QUEDLINBURG, Germany 🇩🇪 - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Quedlinburg is a small German town with about 24,000 people in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The town was founded in the 9th century and has a lot of history making it attractive for tourists in the area.
The main attraction is Quedlinburg Castle, now a museum with old architecture. We start our walking tour in the Old Town which is a UNESCO site. . The town has many with old, half-timbered houses.
St. Nikolai Church is another must-see. Local lore talks about the Quedlinburg Treasure, a collection of old church items.
In our circles around the Old Town we see plenty of Quedlinburg, before we end our tour at the starting point.

Thank you, Brigitte! It was a good day with much to see as in that trip I traveled from Göttingen to Quedlinburg and Wernigerode later. All these places are too far from my home for a day trip so I'm glad visiting these towns worked out
Quedlinburg gehört zu den schönsten Städten in Deutschland - was viele nicht wissen. Die ganze Gegend ist märchenhaft schön, sowohl landschaftlich als auch architektonisch. Ebenso sehenswert sind Wernigerode, Halberstadt (trotz massiver Kriegszerstörungen), Stolberg, Goslar, Wolfenbüttel u. a.. Man muss nicht immer nur ins Ausland reisen, wenn man was Schönes sehen will! Gruß aus Düsseldorf

An diesem Tag schaute ich auch in Wernigerode vorbei und nahm den Spaziergang auf. Quedlinburg und Wernigerode liegen recht nah beieinander. Halberstadt usw. kommt vielleicht nächsten Sommer dran. Du hast da in der Tat 5 sehr schöne deutsche Städte aufgezählt. Wie schon richtig erwähnt "Halberstadt - trotz der Kriegszerstörungen". Wenn wir von Fachwerkstädten reden , dann empfehle ich auch Limburg an der Lahn, Celle, Stade, Marburg, Han. Münden, sowie Duderstadt aber auch Linz am Rhein.

Danke für deine guten Videos. Ich schätze sehr, dass du auch mal abseits der großen Touristenrouten Aufnahmen machst. Habe schon viele Städte in Europa gesehen. Da ich in den letzten Jahren nicht verreisen konnte, sind deine Videos eine echte Bereicherung für mich. Cochem und Bernkastel-Kues sind noch auf der Liste. Wenn ich dort mal in der Nähe bin, werde ich mit Sicherheit ein paar Aufnahmen machen. Vielleicht klappt bald mal der Moselsteig
Das ist wirklich eine sehr schöne Altstadt. Für Fachwerkhaus-Fans eigentlich so gut wie ein Muss. UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.

End of August I (re)visited several German cities in the west: Fulda, Mainz, Hanau, Frankfurt, Bad Nauheim, Siegen, Dortmund, Duisburg, Krefeld, Kassel, Hann Münden, Göttingen. There are more also from the east coming. Due to a large number of unpublished videos (100+ at this point) I still have to upload some to the channel where they appear in the member section first and every 2 weeks or so in the normal mix. Just a few days ago I bought the Osmo Pocket 3 so I may also record some walks in the darker fall/winter months where my Pocket 1 and 2 were struggling in low light. Good times ahead as the Pocket 3 video quality is amazing for its size! It seems to overheat a bit quicker but maybe I'll find a solution.
